I'm sorry.... nothing at any chain eatery is anywhere near as good as a good piece of homemade (or at a small town ma and pa place) pie.

I'd go with blueberry, cherry, pecan, sour cream raisin, peanut butter

Close follow-ups:  peach, apricot, apple, chocolate cream (lots of meringue)

Not even on the list:  mincemeat

Yeah mincemeat is the only pie i'd refuse a piece of.

As far as pie goes...

First tier - Dixie (derby, or oaks - just like pecan pie but w/ chocolate), pecan, custard pie, strawberry rhubarb, peach, peanut butter
2nd tier - cherry, lemon meringue, any kind of berry (blueberry, blackberry, etc), sour cream raisin
third tier - apple (most wtf overrated pie that everyone thinks their mom/grandma makes the best of), chocolate cream, banana cream, coconut cream

these are all really horrible choices for a dessert. sorry saul.  :frown:

bananas alone should automatically disqualify that foster fellow you mentioned above.

with a good whiskey sauce.... mmmmmmm

Here's another one I'd add to favorite desserts, although it can go as a breakfast as well.  Honestly, if a dessert can double as a breakfast, that puts it way above everything:

New Year's Cookies

Do you mean chcocolate bag?  If so, yes.  It is a first rate dessert that you share with the girl you brought and always leads to getting laid.

Also the PCDC has an elite dessert bar which includes almost everything mentioned above in some form except the trademarked ice cream bars and mincemeat.

Speaking of crab, I went to Huhot last week and got some of their crab.  Most delicious crustacean i've ever had.

Side note:  When I was waiting in line, one of the "chefs" went around and asked if anybody wanted their "spicy paste."  I tried it and it was far and away the most spicy thing I've ever tasted.  Put the "Blazin" sauce at BWW to shame.  I was sweating profusely.  But for some reason, I found the experience strangely exhilarating.  Would eat again.
