http://www.kansas.com/mld/kansas/sports/colleges/kansas_state_university/15672011.htmBlair update -- Pittsburgh high school star DeJuan Blair canceled an official trip to Indiana recently, but that doesn't mean he isn't planning to visit Bloomington. According to his AAU coach/mentor J.O. Stright, Tennessee has entered the picture, but K-State remains in good shape for the power forward.
All of the attention has been a little unnerving for Blair.
"It's chaos," Stright said. "A 17-year-old is not used to this type of pressure. On the basketball court? Sure, he can handle it. But this time of the year is so confusing."
Blair is trying to raise his core grade-point average, taking a couple of night classes.
As for his buddy, D.J. Kennedy, Stright thinks Kennedy is waiting to see what Blair does.
"I think he'd like it if the big fella made his decision first," Stright said, adding that they'd like to play together.
doke had the blair academics story first.
