More dumbass logic, "ku hired a bad coach, so that clearly means they didn't "emphasize" football". Meanwhile both MU and ku spent a combined $70 million dollars on football facilities between 1996 and 2000, and likely spent just as much or more every year on the football budget than K-State did. But hey, football was a de-emphasized "niche" sport at ku and MU.
