All Rise... The Judge is in the house.
Sports Illustrated has released information that Alex Rodriguez has tested posted for 2 banned substances in 2003. I though he would be accused but I didn't think it would take this long to find out the truth... if this is accurate his career has been tarnished and anything he does from here on out is irrelevant. It's too bad, the man can play.

I still love Alex. Great human. Feel bad that he has to hang around losers.

    CTR is back on: Hornsdown
Everyone did it, the playing field was level.

Anyone who says the NEVER took any of these substances is a liar.

Seriously, can't we just assume that everyone who has played baseball in the last 15 years is a cheater?

Just released a report on ESPN that says that A-Rod has admitted taking riods for the 3 year span when he was with the Rangers. At least he has come clean even though he probably won't be getting into the hall now...

This is A-Rod's best hope, to admit to a bunch of stuff now and plead for mercy.  That strategy worked okay for Andy Pettitte (sp?).

Now comes the  :powertard:  search for the next "clean" player who will bring legitimacy to the home run records.

Goodness. The record books should just highlight that period with an asterisk that references the phrase: "Chemically Enhanced Performance Likely" at the bottom of each page. Pro sports have become such a joke. I can't beleive people actually follow that crap like a religion.  Here's to all things collegiate!!!

A large majority of athletes, both professional and amateur, use some sort of enhancing substance.

    WTF???
I agree. At least he said he did it. I'd rather hear that a baseball player was on roids than hear another ex-football player is going to be on Dancing with the Stars. JMHO

Double LOL @ W "that period" - this sort of thing started decades ago.  Did you really think that it was the law of averages or smarter training that's been responsible for all of the ever-more-impressive performances in sport?

    7-5 ^idiot
The only reason he is telling the truth (now anyways) is because he saw how no one believed anyone who went before congress and they were all shunned for it, whereas Andy Petite told the truth a while back and no one really cares anymore. He's a cheater, not an idiot.

...and who the hell cares anyways? its baseball

Seriously! We allow baseball to take up our free time between college basketball and college footbal season during the summer but NOOOOOO. They just have to have their "Hot stove" talks all over Sportscenter when all I care about is the Cats getting some national pub. FU MLB, FU. Greedy bastards

I think my grandpa killed somebody once, but he never liked to talk about Kent State.

You're kidding, right?  espn covering KSU?  They'd rather talk about how michigan/ohio st/duke/north carolina/usc/florida/yankees/redsox hired a new intern.
