kent's medium post game (he doesn't post hard enough to get the ball in the low post) has improved exponentially.  he's hard to stop unless you're a good defender.

defensively, he's pretty good except on guys that just overpower him.  and he def rebounds ok.

it'd be an easy choice for kent if it wasn't for the turnovers.  his turnovers are ridiculous.  i guess it'd depend on who the other four players are.

I'm just repeating kenpom.  :dunno:

Kent, shoots more than Sutton and samuels, and twice as much as Ron Anderson.  I mean, c'mon.  His retarded jump shots and turnovers hurt a lot more than Colon's missed layups.  Kent would miss a lot of layups, too, but he doesn't take many.

I dunno.  I think a lot of the usage difference has to be because Martin asks more of Kent than he does of Colon.  I'd still take Kent, even with the turnovers.

Yes, this kind of leads to the question of what is better:  someone who does a lot, and does it poorly, or someone who does very little pretty well?

Agree w/ sys, it kind of depends who's on the court at the same time.

Like, if Sutton's on the court, I'd rather have Colon.  C-Merr, I'd rather have Kent.

If I had to pick one or the other not knowing who they'd be playing with, I'd go w/ Colon.

Under no circumstances would I ever pick Colon over Kent.  If you have other bigs that can score, Kent plays within himself more (see last season).  If you need him to score, Kent is a halfway decent option.  Colon stinks period.  If he was asked to do what Kent is asked to do, he'd have 10 to 15 turnovers a game easily.  Ridiculous to think Colon is better with the ball, or really better at any facet of basketball than Kent is.

QFT.  His turnovers were so raw last year.  The work he put in to develop that "rebound, fall down, get called for travelling"  manuever is commendable.  His passes directly to the opposing players weren't nearly as crisp last year either.

Gotta take kent. Even tho he does fall when he rebounds and travels...got take him over a guy that runs like a robot (colon) But atleast colon tries. Still gotta go with the White Tiger
