So what do you all think is the over/under on runs scored in this game? We have Silva vs Ponson. Silva is 1-2 with a worse ERA than Ponson. I think the winning team gets into the double digits in this one...

Ponson was scary in the 5th and 6th but we came together and pulled through.  That was a hell of a throw from DeJesus(?) I can't remember to olivia for the double play ball after the tag-up.  We couldn't really tell from the stands but Oliva went to boxer mode in about three seconds flipping off his hate and getting into stance.  I was waiting for a hockey match to break out.

Negative. Channel 656 is showing the list of scheduled HD games instead of the game that they have scheduled in HD.

These metal frame buildings don't let any radio signal in, so picking up 580 is impossible.  The only station I can pick up is KSAL, but they don't do Royals during the day.     Can't listen on 580 online cuz of the mlb broadcast contract.  Stuck "watching" it on gamecast on ESPN.

He has only pitched twice in the last 15 or so games... and hasn't pitched since sunday... He has to be rusty. We need to get him into games even if we are losing because he needs to be in a rhythm and right now he isn't.

I was sitting close to the field and had a damned good view of that play. His foot had already crossed home plate when he was tagged. The ump had moved into position behind the play and was blocked from seeing it. I was able to see most of the pitches, too. Not sure what the ump was looking at. His strike zone changed more often than my 15 year old daughter's clothes. JMO-FWIW

a) If so, it was the catcher's bad, as the throw was there way ahead of Teahen.

b) How many runners has Owen gotten gunned down at the plate already this young season?

c) How long are Royals fans going to excuse him by fooling themselves into thinking the runners were "really" safe? You don't just toss away RISP like that. Owen is a moron.
