reminds me of the time i was at a party in Hollywood, met up with Angelina Jolie.  we got all drunk and made out with each other for 20 minutes.  here's a pic of us, kinda small but you get the idea-

Head down to San Diego because it's way awesome.  I was never that into In n Out.  Go, but tell me truthfully whether you think it's all that and a bag of In n Out.  Don't just say it's good because you think you're supposed to.  Maybe my taste buds were dulled by smog?  Maybe OTHER people's taste buds are?

I agree, In n Out is over rated, all lettuce, no meat. I'll take a QP w/cheese any day over a double double.

heard there was  nice in-n-out right across the street from LAX. probably just some rube making it up though up though. verify? if yes, did you eat there? if yes, what did you get? on menu or off?

didn't see one right across from there either and I stayed at a hotel right by the airport

that's about what i figured. wish i could remember the joker who tried to tell me and my buddies that there was one there.

I don't know about right across the street but there is one very near LAX on the main drag I think it's just North of LAX.

Yeah. Head to San Diego and cross over to Coronado "Island". Great public beaches on the pacific side. Awesome.

Update
Was pretty awesome. Venice beach very ecletic group. Santa Monica Pier pretty sweet lots of touristy things to do. Went to farmers market it was awesome. Checked out Catalina Island amazers. LAX was nice, not as big or as awesome as I hoped was pretty much was stuck to one area after I got through security.
prolly will put some pics up later.

Venice was a good choice.  My favorite part of the city.  Seems authentic rather than fake/touristy, and many good bars in the Abbot Kinney part.
