To an outsider he seems like the more impressive player.  Samuels as well.

Anderson's defense is really bad, something Frank won't overlook despite any of this other strengths.  Samuels, I agree and have no idea why Colon ever sees the floor.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I agree 100%. I've been saying this for quite awhile.

You read all of our minds.

Kent & Colon out for Samuels & Anderson.

But Martin is all about experience and would rather take the senior and junior over the freshman & sophomore.

They all play 20 min a game.  And Colon averages the least minutes of all.  They are all average to mediocre players right now, so its by committee.  Clearly Samuels and Anderson are more integral for the future, but really you go with the hot hand b/c none are dominant.  Its not like Anderson or Samuels are 30 mpg players.

Not to mention that Colon is the only one that plays to his size and is the only option against Cole.

Colon did a great job overall last night.  Huge improvement from last year to say the least.

He careered.  FM needs to figure out how to get RA into the starting lineup.

I'm always amazed at Anderson's stat line after the game.  He's leading the team in offensive and defensive rebounds.

One of the prime examples of statistics not telling the whole tale.

All Rise... The Judge is in the house.
Anderson only comes off the bench because he is the player we need to pull in offensive rebounds. At this moment he is probably our best rebounder and low post scorer we have but he doesn't see the minutes because of the fact he can't play defense...

Our lineup should look like this

G Clemente
G Pullen
G/SF Sutton
F Samuels
C Colon

Most minutes from Bench
G Brown
G Awaji (because he can score)
F Anderson

The rest are spot duty...

I have a sneaky suspicion that half of Anderson's offensive boards are the result of him finding a way to miss the bunnies.

Yep.  That pretty much says it all.

That, and he has no vertical and can't shoot free throws worth a crap.

On Anderson's defenses; as a whole it is correct that he has probably been our worst post defender (consistency-wise) this year.  But he did play the best defense on Griffin as any of the posts, so perhaps he's beginning to step up.

Again, I hope Samuels steps up to take the 4 spot for his own and get 25-30 MMG.  Then split the remaining 50-55 minutes at the 4/5 among the other 3 guys and go with whoever has the "hotter hand" or is the better match-up.

The only thing that worries me about Samuels is his problems with foul trouble. We need him to produce a lot of minutes and even coming off the bench it seems like he gets 3-4 fouls a game with only playing about 20 minutes if even that...

Put a hoop within 5 feet of him and he'll trip all over himself.
