    Hey, basketball!!!
Callipari
Kreweski
Williams
Calhoun
Pitino

I could go on. This was a very easy list to make FWIW. Like I didn't have to look at anything, these were off the top of my head (see the spelling.)

Donovan was in the NIT last year.  Roy's team lost to Self's team by 18 points in the Final Four last year.  Calipari's team lost to Self's team in the Nat'l Championship last year.  Howland and Calipari have never won a Nat'l Championship.  Coach K?  Talk about SNOWCOAT.  Pitino?  LMAO... they just lost to Western Kentucy by 14 points.  Tom Izzo?  Michigan State just lost to Maryland by 18 and UNC by 35.

Boeheim's been to the NIT two years in a row.

If Rush, Arthur, and Chalmers all came back, ku wins back-to-back NC's also.  LOL @ a K-State fan talking National Championships.

Donovan has back to back NC's. Everybody who watched the Final Four knows Roy gave you guys that game, didn't coach with any intensity. Coach K has multiple NC's. Oh, and Self just lost to a team Calipari handled easily earlier in the year.

Just noticed that Donovan's Florida team only lost to UMass by 12 last year in the NIT semi-final game.  What a "garbage" basketball coach.

Yes, I'm sure that's the only reason why ku was up 40-12 at one point.  Couldn't have been anything ku did.  I'll concede that Coach K is the best coach in basketball, period.   As for Calipari, Self has the head-to-head win in the National Championship.

By coach do you mean recruiter or X'z & O'z.  Seff good/great recruiter & avg game/X'z & O'z guy.

After this year, will Seff be thought of the same?

I guess one way to look at is, if you let FMart coach last year's ukjr roster, would they have done as well or better?  In other words, is it coaching or talent?  Most cases, talent >>>> coaching.  Throw the ball out and let the talent eat up well coached kids.  George Mason in the F4 was one of a few exceptions to the rule.

Any coach with a team that finished in the top 30 the past few years could have lead ukjr's roster to a NC (maybe even b2b with JWright's crew).

I'd put Gary Williams & Bobby Knight up there as two of the best "coaches".  They rarely had a bench full of talent, yet put competitive teams on the court.  I think GW is one of the few (if only) coaches to win a NC without a McDAA, since the McDAA game/process has been in existence.

Memphis is 5-2 this year.... not sure why everyone thinks they're so great.  Calipari and Self are basically the same coach, with Self having a National Championship ring.

Duke won back-to-back titles in '91 and '92.  The only thing that separates Self and Calipari is the '08 Nat'l Championship.
