9. Kansas State (11)   at Baylor   Maybe the defense can get into the end zone.

We're slipping but we still play the three teams below us.  :hope:

7. Kansas State — If nothing else, the defense continues to look legit.

Actually we went from #8 to #7 in the Topeka Capital Journal. The #9 was from the Kansas City Star. We still get to play the 5 teams below us.

8-4 anyone?????

11. KANSAS STATE (3-2, 0-1) — Three points at Baylor? Surely the Wildcats are better than the winless Buffs, right?

If we'd played Colorado this past weekend they'd have beaten us like a red-headed stepchild.

9. Kansas State (4-3, 1-2) — Great special teams. Salty defense. Pitiful offense. Two years from now, when the latter matures, this team could be pretty darn good.

11. KANSAS STATE — When the defense struggles like it did against Missouri, this is a bad football team.

No way that OU is better than NU without Peterson. It's questionable whether they are with him. NU is the clear #2, after a close loss to Texas.

NU is no better than no. 4, behind Texas, Mizzou, and Oklahoma. It might even be safe to put them behind Texas A&M, remember you guys did barely beat ku.

NU has two losses, both to Top Ten teams....Missouri is untested, and Olahoma is without their star player. NU will be in the Big 12 Championship game, and give Texas another run for their money.

In the meantime, keep losing to Baylor....it amuses us.

Oh and by the way, if we're #4, and came down and punked you at home, what does that say about you? Is KSU the worst team in the conference?

NU was embarrassed by USC and almost got lucky in stealing one from Texas but showed why they are not near as good as Texas by pissing the game away in the end. NU will not go to the Big XII championship game. Mizzou managed to hang forty on us while your Huskers couldn't even get over twenty. Mizzou > Nebraska

Nu kept the score close against USC and should have beaten Texas. Those were two impressive performances against Top 10 Ten teams. Missouri will be interesting, but we'll win that one too. The idea that the point spread against KSU is what determines which team is superior is asinine. As though a team that loses to Baylor is a measure of anything but football ineptitude.

But we'll keep kicking ass and taking names. In the process we'll run over you and anyone else that gets in our way. Maybe you should learn to beat Baylor before you pretend you can play with the big boys. At this point, you're a bug on our windshield...an annoyance, but one that a little wiper fluid and a flick of the wrist takes care of.

1. Texas, until proven otherwise
2. Missouri--got the KSU monkey off their back
3. Nebraska--right there with Texas... 2 and 3 TBD in a week
4. Oklahoma--will lose this week in Columbia
5. aTm--Finds a way to win games..charmed life may end soon
6. Baylor--3-1 is hard to argue with
7. TT--looking really strong after disaster in Boulder
8. OSU--Incredible offense, can't finish a game
9. ku--Talented enough to win, but doesn't know how
10. KSU--Has at least one league win
11. CU--Great defense, pitiful offense
12. ISU--No wins yet, so sittin in the basement.

Nebraska will win this weekend....probably by at least two TDs.

So who's worse than K-State right now? You guys even lost to Baylor. Are you #12 of 12 at this point?
