The only problem is is OU kills OSU then I would bet the farm that the computers move them ahead of Texas.  If Texas Tech wins.  That leaves a 3-way tie and OU wins because they would be higher in the BCS standings. BS I know but that's how it works.  Now what would be funny is If OU goes to the Championship game loses to MU and Texas moves back up to #2 playing for the NC.

I think Texas should go.  They had a brutal four game streak.  They beat OU.  They have backed off at the end of games (see last night) late in the season even though scoring 60-70+ might get some style points with voters.

Didn't the Big Televen break a first place tie for the league title (ultimately for the Rose Bowl) by sending the team that was furthest removed from their last appearance?  If the Big 12 does that, TT would go.

Whatever happens, it's just another year for the left-out teams to whine about it, sometimes with justification.

Just be thankful that we don't have to deal with this kind of stuff with a 5-7 record.

what about this senario?? Alabama loses, OU beats OSU and MU.  Possible Big 12 #1 and #2 OU and Texas playing in the MNC.  I know it would never happen, but is it crazy to think like that??

What would even be more awesome is if somehow missouri won the ccg. They would be big 12 champs and be at best the 3rd best team in the conference. I love chaos in the bcs. Doesn't matter though, cash money trumps all.

Mizzou - not gonna happen next week in Arrowhead, no matter who of the three contenders they face.

The whole idea that there is more money to be made under the current BCS system than in a playoff is ridiculous. You essentially still have the BCS bowl games. In addition, I think there would be more interest and $$$ generated under a playoff system. You cannot tell me that the Orange Bowl - likely Cincinnati versus the ACC Champ - will generate more revenue than a playoff game would in its place.
