I didn't.  I don't belong to any premium sites!  I took it from another KSU forum that must have taken it from a premium site.  And I was kind of wondering where it did originate from, but obviously not all "that much"...

No problem.  It was brought to my attention that it was copied verbatim.

Thanks.

I think its important when looking at the recruitment of guards that we really look at what position they play. Here are a couple things we know:

Pullen has made it clear (himself) that he is a point guard that can score a little bit.

Thornton's coach has made it clear he is a shooting guard.

Gonzalez is a PG.  Reed is a combo guard, but he seems to project as a PG at this level.  Mayo a PG.  Kennedy is a SG.

I think this class will have 2 PGs, 2 SGs, and 2 PFs.  Right now we have Beasley, so one PF is taken, and possibly Walker, so one SG might be taken.  That leaves getting 2 PGs, 1 SG, and 1 PF from what we have left.

Obviously Mayo and Reed would be the ideal combo for PGs, but we're keeping Pullen and Gonzalez in the fold in case one or both don't work out.  Thornton seems to be the #1 target for the other SG commitment, but it sounds like we like Kennedy a lot too.  Its possible that if both will come here, we'll take both.  The issue that leaves us with is that we don't have room for Blair under that scenario, and it seems like we want him pretty bad too.  It'll all shake out considerably over the next couple of months and it will be interesting to see how Coach Huggins puts this class together.

i could seriously see us getting all of our top targets.

mayo
walker
beasley
reed
blair
kennedy

my top ones anyway..  it also helps that a third of them are already committed (we know walker has). blair loves us and that brings kennedy. we are reed's third choice but ku nor unc are going to take him so look at us and for some reason we supposedly have a good shot at mayo again so i guess we might get him. man i love bob huggins.
