    The very best.
patterson to clemsy, koening to ksu.

 :dunno:
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

I think the new d-coordinator will be a pleasant surprise to K-State fans, and I don't think it will be Koening. He may be part of the staff, but I don't see him as the defensive coordinator.

I can't see Koening coming to K-State to be anything other than DC.

But if he wants to come as a position coach with PB as DC, one thing for sure, KSU may not have the best defense, but they won't look like a bunch of assclown tards running around out there, and they'll hit people.

Partial speculation/source. Nothing is close to being official yet so I will not put a name out there because I can't confirm it.

Shut the F*Ck up with that bullcrap.  I don't want to hear sh*t about this source or that source.  If nothing else what we all found out through this entire process is that nobody can get inside another person's head and that is ultimately where GP's decision was made.

I'll never fall for the "I heard from a source" sh*t again.

Could it be Phil Bennett as DC?  :billypopcorn:
It's a tremendous challenge here. I think it has the opportunity for the greatest turnaround in college football. It is not one to be taken lightly. ---------- Bill Snyder ( Nov 30th, 1988)

I'd prefer Koenning over Bennett, by far, because of Clemson's recruiting.

Koenning's wikipedia page is laughable in it's briefness.

You're not very good at this whole press thing.  If you're going to make a living doing it you're going to have to learn to spill your guts as soon as you're in possession of any sort of tidbit, even if it turns out to be nothing more than a rumor.   No time like the present for some professional development.

Koening as DC/Head Coach Designate is about the only thing I've heard in the last 48 hours that even begins to give me a glimmer of hope that this might work out.

But then I remember this is K-State we are talking about, so just the opposite will occur.  And then Joe Bob Clements will rejoin the staff and Jonathon Beasley will be named offensive coordinator.
