Snyder didn't want to retire in 2005. No way. Now he's back...and he's going to assemble a staff that will get us back to respectablility...whatever the hell that even means anymore.

This hire sucks imho but I have to support it......

you don't have to support it.  you can think for yourself if you want.  it's not like if Bill gets back to winning that they won't let you enter the stadium because you thought he wouldn't win or that you won't get any more/less excitement out of winning.

to me supporting it= buying season tickets..going to games, tailgating, spending on ksu s h i t..etc..

I like ksu football too much to let a poor hire take that away from me. Even if we would have hired Fran or McCarney which are better options than bringing Snyder out of retirement I would support it.

Call me a powertard or whatever the frack makes you internet tough guys feel better but there is NO argument against the idea that the only reason any of us even give a frack about college football in this town is because of Snyder himself. Now, that doesn't mean I think this is a good hire. Far from it...its just that if Bill wants the keys back I guess its his decision and lets support him. If it fails...then guys like chum1, Rusty, and catzacker can lead the pitchfork parade to Vanier like we all did with Prince.

When I was a kid growing up in the projects, I used to dream of going into space, of escaping the slums, of killing an Ewok!

see this is what makes you a tard.  I don't like this hire.  I think it's just about an inch above terrible.  But I'm going to show up as well.  Going to EMAW it up at games.  But that doesn't preclude me from discussing the wreck that Bill left the program in, doesn't preclude me from being excited if KSU wins under Snyder, doesn't preclude me questioning the man's ability to change the way he done things for 17 years of his head coaching life.  see, what I enjoy about this place is that my K-Statriotism isn't questioned, only the merits of my argument, and any cynical/jackass-ery that goes along with that questioning makes it all the more fun.  what isn't fun is having to "prove" my K-Statriotism with every post.

Did they pay you to screw that bear?
It is a horrible move.  Snyder is a legend but this is not what we needed right now.  I can't imagine that he will stay very long this time and then we will be in this same sh*tty position again.  When he leaves again, it will be our third head coach change in how many years.  That instability is bad for the program.  We needed to hire a company man that has had success as a head coach who could conceivably stay for a long time.  It could have been worse for sure, but it also could have been much better.  This is a short term fix.
I could care less if you guys are good this year. I really could.  You guys are talkin trash on the fieldhouse. Saying Bramlage is way louder and better and stuff. :crybaby:
