"Q: so i talked to one of the coaches from the basketball team about bill walker possibly coming to play, and he told me i wasn't even supposed to know about it, and the media shouldn't have leaked it. is this why you were so mum on the whole "mystery" player?

A:Still don't want to talk about it, Casey. Sorry.

Nice job jackass, I guess selling subscriptions is more important than KSU succeeding. His true colors have been shown, they are not purple, they are green.

He didnt help, thats for sure. Especially since the coaches are pissed about it. I guess the next question is, who leaked it????

Yeah, I think when Fitz hinted at what might happen originally he thought it would break in the next few days.  Then it remained tight longer than expected and it started to blow up a bit.  Finally, it was Kietz who originally mentioned it on his radio show as a possibility, then that evening Fitz posted his story on it.  It may or may not hurt our chances, but IMO the fact that since this came out we haven't heard a word from Walker himself is a good thing.  Plus Huggins has been and can be in contact now, so I think it bodes well for this happening, I'd say its pretty likely at this point.

Something like this is really the only reason Walker would've stayed at NCH and not sought a prep school to play a 5th year of basketball.

It should have never been brought up in the middle school rumor-esque way it was anyway...

Sweet.  Another Fitz thread.  In case you didn't know, jarr, he started his business illegally:

Anything that screws over a magazine "by ku people for KStaters" is perfectly legal in my book.  Who cares what the courts say?

Pretty sure that magazine was started by a K-Stater.

Pretty sure he cheers for OU and Texas now.

I'd rather give money to a Ksu fan than a ku thief.
I'm telling you, this is not ANYTHING like the team from the beginning of conference play. You will see no more blowouts like what happened in OOC.  If we lose, it will not because these kids gave up, and it will be at the buzzer. -Rodless, before 97-70
