First, no this is not a case for KSU to be ranked. I am looking at the rankings on CFN and the coaches. What a collective joke.

How doe sA&M even receive votes. it was Army for God's sake. And who was thier other oponent, the Citiadel.

How does OU lose and go up (CFN)?

TT looses to a ranked tcu and falls out and when did beating the Irish ad a jet pack to your number?

Looking at this reminds me of ND sneaking into a BCS bowl a few years back and then wataching them get use dlike a girl on public TV. I think it was like against Oregon or something. Same year the Kats beat up on Tennesee in the Cotton Bowl.

Long enough to know that one win shouldn't equate to a jump of 7 slots. You see the world through "green glasses" or should I be aksing yhou "how long you been watching college ball?"

Fqact of the matter is early season polls jump around but 7 slots is a alot.

Only polls that matter are the ones at the end of the season.  I think it's funny how the collective College Football community hates the computer polls, and yet they are really the only ones that aren't controlled by someones bias, and opinion.  Take Nebraska's rankings this season.  What had they done to get ranked to begin with, out side of having their history, before Tom Osborn retired?

You obviously haven't been watchin' long enough....this isn't about what should and shouldn't happen.  I didn't say it was right or wrong....but you're pretty naive if you don't think Michigan winning over #2 Notre Dame isn't gonna skyrocket up the polls.

I'm not saying it wasn't a good win for Michigan though the Irish may be a bit overrated. What my beef is that early season polls jump around and that I am surprised that one quality win makes Michigan a team that is now sitting just outside of the top 5. They beat who before that, a 0-3 Vanderbilt team and Central Michigan???

Oh I forgot to ask. Are you the same "Wildcat Jack" that has posted the game summaries on KStateFootball.com??

If so you had some great articles. I used to read them before that site shut off the access unless you made a certain level donation.

If computer polls arent' controlled by Bias and opinion, then why aren't they all shooting out the same results?  Someone has to program these polls, and that's when the bias and opinion enter the equation.

Yep, thanks...I'm glad you liked 'em.  With work and moving out of town and all I only write about one per year now.

Because they are statistics driven, and it depends on what stats said programmer deems important.  The only computer poll that has any bias in computer polls is the initial one.  After that it's their "equations" that work the rest of the way.  Besides, wouldn't you rather have a bunch of different outcomes, averaged out, then two completely bias copy cats?  You don't have to answer that because it's obvious with your previous response that you would rather take a pair of biased copy cats, over anything remotely close to accurate.

Here's the Snyder Farewell.....it's the last one I did.

Oooops...it won't let me post it because it exceeds the maximum allowed length of 20,000 characters.   I guess I'm just too long-winded

I got three that said I could have my penis extended, but not in 20000 words, so I assume those weren't yours.
