Question for PS3 Users

I'm looking at getting a new game or two, and need some input,  which of these have you played and would you go with?


Fallout 3
Little Big Planet
Resistance 2
Valkyria Chronicles
Eternal Sonata (Was on X360 a year ago, but was revamped for PS3)

I'm looking for something that has depth, that will keep me busy for a while, but is a good game also.  I'm leaning on Fallout 3, or Resistance 2,  I played LBP in Beta and enjoyed it, and think it may be something my wife may try and play also.

LBP - lots of playtime, my wife likes it and she doesnt play too many video games
Valkryia Chronicles - lots of depth, will take a long time to beat IMO.  The battles are pretty long but fun.
Eternal Sonata looks fun, I played the demo and enjoyed it.

Other 2 are gay imo.

Cool, I was wondering on the depth of Valkyria Chronicles.  It looked like it had potential, just I couldn't tell from the Demo.  I played the Demo of Eternal Sonata too, other than confusing the bejeezus out of me with all the Musical type names, it looked okay.

Fallout 3 I was wondering because I did enjoy Oblivion and was wondering if it was the same scope.

Thanks for the LBP review too.  I was shying away because I Heard the Single player is only 7-10 hours, but then there is all the extra content also.

 

ps - FF7 is still my favorite, although 7, 8 and 10 are a blast to play!

Which one was 10?  Was that on PS2?  Follow up:  When does the one for 360 come out? 

10 was on PS2.  13 comes out in 09. However a 2 hour demo is coming out in March of 09, packaged with the Blue-Ray of "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children".

I didn't like 8 the first play through. Played it again years later and liked it a lot more.

7 is better.

So is 6.

10 probably edges it too.

9 is worse.

12... I'm not sure I'd even compare it to the others. Its just completely different. In a good and bad way.

the reality is that there aren't a lot of great PS3 games out there.
If I was getting one today I'd probably get Dead Space or R2.

Single player is pretty short but it is a blast playing with other people.  The online levels and create mode give it alot more hours.
