I agree that our fans need to try and be positive and certainly no "booing" of the home team. As for the tough schedule garbage...well that is what it is. Every year Texas and OU will be ranked and, additionally, we can expect two of Tech and/or A&M and/or OSU to be ranked. In the north, NU and probably one of the others will be ranked in most years. Our preseason schedule didn't have anyone ranked. Our schedule is no tougher than we can expect it to be in most years. The only difference is who we have at home, and who we have on the road, along with the south rotation. That will vary some but, to be a top 10/top 20 program, you really need to be one of the top 20-30 teams in the country normally (some variance due to strength of schedule). KSU is currently no where close to that. 3rd year of Prince's tenure and we are no where close to ranking and are barely above the Big 12 cellar. Show us the progress, that is what we all want to see. Instead, we see the worst D in the conference and one of the worst in the nation. An inconsistent offense predicated on one player, who may well leave after this year, questionable coaching decisions and below average to poor recruiting. Special teams are normally good....that's it. Fans are frustrated because they don't see any signs the admin gets it I understand they need to be supportive but they appear to be using the head in the sand mentality and the fans just want the admin to know that we don't find the current status to be acceptable, nor do we see any signs of improvement. Please don't trot out Mangino and Pinkel for their one good season. Even in their early tenures we could tell that Pinkel's talent was seriously upgrading and that Mangino could coach, it was just a matter of if either could fix the lack of coaching and lack of recruiting enough to become good. We don't see any of those signs at KSU. That being said, when we go to the games, a positive vibe is important we need to put forth all the support we can there...kind of like at A&M without the weak cheerleader guys and megaphones. In between we can rant and put forth all our opinions.
