who here thought we STILL had a chance?

I want names.

It was hilarous watching OU score on 3 and 4 play "drives" over and over....then seeing our dumb fans actually think we had a shot at outscoring them the rest of the way.

We need alot more Prince hate, not only on these boards but in the stands as well, or stay home and refuse to support this out-of-his-league douche.

btw...Murray appeared bored on the sideline after his 4TD against us.

Anyone who thought we ever had a chance is completely retarded.

I just centered my attention on the slow motion play of Pomele and knew we had no chance. Our LB's are horrible.

Stan :blahblah: did compare Hall to Josh Buhl earlier this season. Also compared Houlik to a "Travis Ochs, Travis Litton" type....

Well any hope I did have was quickly squashed when I saw Prince taking so many shots at the end of the half and not just running the ball/clock and getting to halftime while we actually had some momentum, had the crowd in the game, and actually had a chance to make it interesting.  Then in the second half when we were down and there wasn't much time left he ran the ball a lot.  Very poor game management.

The truth of the matter is that his specific strategy choices didn't matter because the team he's built sucks.  They'd have gotten killed if he'd done the patented kneel-it-out-with-2-minutes-left-in-the-half too.  If you have good players, "getting a play in the kicking game" and devising an innovative kicker-faceplant onside kick and 2-point conversions w/25 minutes left aren't quite as critical.

I was stategizing well into the 4th quarter down by 20 how we were going to score and recover to onside kicks.   :scared:

I thought if we could have stopped them on 4th down we could hang around for about 5 more minutes.

When we tied it at 28, I said "well, maybe we won't get embarrassed." When we go up against ranked teams now a days, the only thing I'm rooting for is to not get embarrassed. I no longer think we have a chance against good teams because I know what you need to have a competitive football team and we pretty much have the opposite. :frown:

    The very best.
when we tied it at 28, it completely made sense why ku hung around vs OU.

OU has some sig. problems on defense.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

He definately didn't manage the game well. When we got the ball back with 4-5 minutes, we should have ran the ball, passed if we needed to, quick outs, keep the clock moving.

It was obvious that OU was going to score everytime they got the goddamn ball, so why throw the ball 3 times, and punt right back to them? Horrible game management, although it wouldn't have mattered.

At that point we were dominating the 2nd quarter, had the momentum, had the crowd going...of course I thought we had a chance

But then I looked on the sideline and saw RP smiling and I knew at thatpoint it would end horribly :flush:

QFT.  I saw some douchey mirrored sunglasses and an awkward looking beer gut and knew we were going to get whipped from there on out.
