Q: Is it overly optimistic to still think the cats can make it to a bowl game?
jmlynch, Manhattan 9/03/06
A: Probably. But there are still people (mostly kids) who still believe in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy - why not the Cats?

Q: With the subpar performance with the O-line. Do you think Prince will be delegating less and taking over the coaching of the O-line?
Mike, Anaheim Hills, CA 9/03/06
A: I think he should, but if he doesn't, he has a scapegoat.

Q: After what I saw last night I'm thinking 3 wins is all for the `Cats this year - talk me off the ledge and tell me we'll have more than 3, please.
Frank, Pratt 9/03/06
A: Nah, three sounds about right. No more than five or six, I'm guessing.

Q: I have some friends who attended the game Saturday night. The best comment I heard regarding the offensive line is that it was 'offensive'. 'More chaos than a Keystone Kops movie'. We hired an offensive line coach to get this? Is there a shred of embarrassment in the guy, or is it the standard 'we'll be better (against an even more inferior opponent) next week'?
Catscratch, Broomfield, Co 9/04/06
A: I was wondering when you'd check in, 'Scratch. The thing I would advise people is that this whole situation can ONLY get better. It was weird, though. There was no sense of shame at all, from Prince to the players, for squeaking out a one-point win against an I-AA team. That, to me, speaks volumes about where this program is at. It wasn't even relief - more like ambivalence. Really bizarre.

Scary.
