This morning on "Crunch Time" they were talking about the game and asking if people were panicing by the fact that we only beat a I-AA team by 1 point. All, at least in the studio, agreed that people are overreacting and at least we're not Colorado (losing to a I-AA team). They all kind of agreed that it would be a good idea for OCJF and DCRM to go up in the booth vs. standing on the sidelines.

I was just wondering what the overall opinion of this is? What are the pros and cons of being on the field vs. being up in the booth?

You can't be racist and like basketball.
Bennett was on the field.  I think Elliott was sometimes, too.

It's kind of wierd for OC's to be down there, but I don't know how much difference it makes.

Who's in the booth?

Wallerstedt was in the booth for defense.

Morris and Franklin are short-timers who'll jump at the chance to get back to the NFL if the option becomes available.  I'm all for having the next OC & DC in the booth now.

I'd settle for coordinator experience.

Assuming Prince isn't summarily dismissed in a couple of years the next OC & DC are getting experience in the booth right now.

You could make a very good argument that Wallerstedt is more qualified anyway.

Next OC - Horton?
