    All Rise... The Judge is in the house.
Ray Rice was a little more important than people thought. They can't pass when everyone is expecting it. Rutgers= back in the Big East celler.

said they had six new staff members this year + no Ray Rice to rely on on the ground + Teel probably had his worse game of his career with 5 INTs

Did anyone else see the Greg Little vs. Lamark Brown comparisons? Why would we not use lamark in the back field? Espesially if he can catch the ball out of the back field!!!

btw... Little was the UNC running back.

Turns out the wood they were chopping on just happened to be the football program. Now they're planting new trees.

It looks like Rutgers' "rise" in college football will be remembered like Northwestern in the 90s.

Schiano = Gary Barnett?

Barnett got out though.....Unless Joe Pa gets killed by one of his players in the next year Schiano will still be playing patty cakes at Rutgers. If it takes over 1 year for Joe Pa to die or retire then Schiano is effed in the A. How much would that suck to be stuck at RUTGERS for life? New Jersey? Scarlet Knights? New Jersey? Always in the shadow of WBB?

True, but the bottom dropped out for Barnett his last two seasons at NW, both under .500 and their respective records at both schools over the same time period are pretty similar.  Schiano still has time, I'm betting he'll jump at his next opportunity.

That is pretty much what happens most places.  Harder to sustain it then it is to put together one or two good seasons.  That is what made Snyder god not so much that he won but the fact that he did it for 10 years straight.  Most BCS programs have put together one or two outstanding season at some point.

True.  But Rutgers and Northwestern are two of the only schools that can match how bad we were before Snyder, thus the comparison.
