Lamark MAYBE could have caught that, but it was a terrible pitch

All Rise... The Judge is in the house.
I don't get why we would show those plays in a game that was already out of hand... I think that kinda exposes it. I expect us to run a lot of reverses this season. That's no surprise though.

They won't bite on the fake reverse if they aren't expecting a reverse to begin with.

    Hey, basketball!!!
Valentine was supposed to hand it off to him, he decided to pitch it to Lamark's shoulder from one yard away

Keithen's fault.

I was more impressed with him this week than last. I don't mind him being the 3rd receiver in a 3 receiver set at all. I do wonder if he'll continue to be as effective against better defenses.

Please get Pierce out of there though...

Lamark - Quarles - Murphy/Banks (alternating)

No reason to bring Pierce in unless someone needs a breather.

Freeman was visibly upset at Pierce after one of the drops.

Hopefully he'll use his power for good and reorder the depth chart.

Pierce has become our drop champ so far.

Bad pitch or not, that's his play. He ran the doublewing in high school as a running back. Those are the one balls he should be use to catching.

It's not real flashy, especially when its in kansas. There are a lot of texas and other southern schools that use this offense, and it's pretty fun to watch.

Hutch has ridden it to 4 straight state titles.  Probably 5 after this year.  Lots of good HS teams run the flexbone b/c you can do quite a bit out of it.  If you've got a servicable offensive line, QB that can make decisions, and a couple decent backs you can do some things with it.  Of course lots of bad teams run it as well.  You've got to put some work in to make it run well, but its a good HS offense if you don't like to vary formations too much.
