3. Kansas will show it is a one-year wonder.
The Jayhawks schedule is tougher than a breakfast steak, and let's face it: no one goes injury-free two seasons in a row. Even Mark Mangino acknowledges his team has a lack of depth.

Nice :dancin:

It was truly the "Perfect Storm" for ku last season. Won't happen again. Maybe 8 wins this year, not that there is anything wrong with that.

Steroids.....perhaps developed with the Chinese weightlifters, thus making them untraceable to testing.  Not that I would give any credence to ku's testing authority - Talib.

8/30 Florida International W
9/6 Louisiana Tech W
9/12 at South Florida L
9/20 Sam Houston State W
10/4 at Iowa State W
10/11 Colorado L - A little more expereince & #1 RB out of HS = DOOM for 'Gina and the boys
10/18 at Oklahoma L - This will be so bad, it should count as two losses
10/25 Texas Tech L - This is THE Spread Offense... bring your lunch as this will be a LONG day
11/1 Kansas State L - Freemie will go nuts and the JUCOs will feed a BIG plate of crow
11/8 at Nebraska 50/50 I dont know, but at this point Beaks will be 4-5. Morale in the crapper
11/15 Texas L - Not as bad as OU, but pretty bad IMO
11/29 at Missouri L - Umm, remember last year? Yeah, more of the same - Todd will be picking ALL of the endzone out of his facemask.

It could be bad, very bad for uk 4-8/5-7... garden variety W/L for our friends from Larry Town

The potential is there for some serious trouncings if uk II is less than good. Pinkel rarely pours it on, but two years ago in Columbia he went for two with a 20 point lead in the 4th quarter against uk II. Me thinks '08 uk II will resemble the '96 team that sucked after the big season in '95. Stoops is gunning for a National Title so he will get all the points he can. Leach is an a hole and would run it up on anyone. Will be a long year for this overrated team. ku might finish last in North, game in Ames determines that.

Interesting.   Could you give me your prediction for KSU's season for comparison?

i think ku beats USF by 20-30.

Well, Vegas Insider has the USF season over/under at 9, and the ku season over/under at 8.  http://www.vegasinsider.com/college-football/odds/futures/#2123

Is a ku win needed for 9 wins?

@ Central Florida Golden Knights
Kansas Jayhawks
@ Florida International Golden Panthers
@ North Carolina State Wolfpack
Pittsburgh Panthers
Syracuse Orangemen
@ Louisville Cardinals
@ Cincinnati Bearcats

as someone who has a bet both on the ukans under 8 wins and the s. florida over 9 wins (both big favorites at this point), yes that is a massive game for s. florida.  remember, to win the bet s. florida needs 10 wins, 9 is just a push.  currently s. florida is about a 6.5 pt favorite in that game and i'm sure it'll be close.  i'd honestly be shocked if ukans won, i think s. florida has a great shot at running the table, esp in the horrible big east.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.
