Yeah, that is also fun.  One time he cooked fish in the microwave and I was all, "GMAFB Alton!" but we tried it at home and it was  :lick:

Also... when he has the kid on that looks just like him. I'm like "OMG Mini Alton Brown! I bet he takes over the franchise when dad retires" and then I see the credits role and the kid has a different last name. Is it his kid or did they really find a child actor that looks just like him.

Plays the character of his nephew, Elton (and sometimes young Alton) on the show.  Unrelated in real life.  GMAFB Daris.

Redic stuff here, really redic. Next you'll prob try and say that the asian lady at the BB&B  is also a "character"  and that she's played by former football player turned actor Alex Karras. Webster's dad is the asian lady. Whatever Steve, whatever.

Actually,  "W" works at Linens and Things, (at least she was in the episode I saw last night) and is his chiropractor in real life.

homemade salsa recipe, :lick:

7-8 Roma Tomatoes
4-5 green onions out of a bunch
4-8 jalapenos or habaneros (pending spiceyness tolerance)
1 bunch of cilantro
tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
lime juice (i usually use one entire lime)

chop up all ingredients, put into food processor or blender (blend to chunkiness desired), top with a little garlic powder.  and there you have it,

i use velvetta.  and hot rotel that's been through the processor.

Yeah, that's what I do too.  Kinda wanted to make some that was different but me melting cheese (mac & chee, ccq, etc.) always ends disastorous unless I just use Velveeta.

there is a white cheese that comes wrapped up in a ball like Motz that I've seen in the mexican section at Price chopper.  It's not Mont. Jack.  I wonder if that's what they use?

I've wondered the same thing many times.

Check to see if it is Asadero or Chihuahua.  Those seem to be the main cheeses used in queso blanco, along with mont. jack.  Also, a mixture of any or all of the three is yummy.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

no cooking required.  only takes about 10-15 minutes to make.
