"Did he say hi to you once?"

Nope, it's all about watching a fifteen + years of mediocre to bad basketball.  Huggins changed all of that.

I can only hope those people who want to slam on Huggins now somewhere down the line realize the gift he truly was to K-State basketball.

Indirectly, sure. Let's not be retarded here, Beasley, Walker, Dalonte and Frank are the reason for our success, not Huggins. Huggins decided to leave w/o finishing anything @ KSU. He didn't build jacksh1t.

But I guess you will give Huggins credit for those two. And for discovering electricity.

There is no Mike, Bill, Dalonte, or Frank in Manhattan if Huggs was not a Wildcat for one season...

Half of the Huggins hype was based off of Walker and Beasley. Actually, more than half. He brought Walker (thank you bob!) and Dalonte brought Beasley (god bless this kid for staying with us after Huggins left)

Crediting Huggins for 2007-2008 is just retarded. Why not also credit the guy who hired Huggins just as much?

Or if you do insist on crediting Huggins for 2007-2008, be sure to credit Jim Wooldridge for that thrilling 06-07 NIT appearance. It was, his players that actually did anything. Blake Young sucked.

Yes, Weiser and Wefald deserve credit - but let's not forget that part of the season Huggs chose us was completely due to timing. We were in need of a coach and he was available. Credit goes to Wefald and Weiser for hiring him - which many places refused to do based on his past run-ins and reputation - but, as time goes by I think all KSU fans can realize what he brought to the table. There is no Dalonte and Beasley without Huggs - and those are probably two of our biggests assets since Wooldridge was canned...

There's no hugs without the really smart admin at Cincy, there's no Walker without that really great cop who busted Hugs' drunk ass, there's no Dalonte without Beasley so give Mike that credit for that, there's no DCA without 'Te, there's no hugs without wooly, there's no wooly without Asbury, you can go on forever and nobody should get a pass just because they are connected to something positive later on.  Stupid argument.

I give credit to the Big Bang.  Without it, like, nothing would have happened.

    I'm ANGRY!
Walker wasn't out of shape, we packed the pounds on him so we could play him at the 4.

Or was it the philly bluntwraps and heath bars from Dara's?

We can go round and round discussing this topic, regardless of who is the key to our future success, Huggs laid the ground for it...

No, the point is that the cop who made him puke on himself is to be congratulated equally for laying the groundwork (not at all)....or Wooly...big bang...etc.

Holy sh**!  Now that is beyond retarded, thanks for making the entire board that much more dumber.  Wildcatdad, is that your dumbass who made that post?

Yeah and the Sonics made Shawn Kemp gain those 75 extra lbs so he could play the 4.  F'n RETARDED!

Two words...Bob Huggins.

Did he say hi to you once? Must have been the greatest moment of your life. I'm sure you told all your friends.

Did you see that post on GoPo where that guy saw Thuggs in a MHK resturaunt and introduced himself & his kid to him (while being friendly).

What a douche...

I felt bad for the one guy who actually said he wouldnt have shaken Huggs hand....then the retard crew jumped his ass for saying it...

Yourmyboybuhl = biggest POS on rivals.....I heard he got aids from Bennett.

This is like saying the Jews were grateful for Hitler, because it led to the creation of Israel.

You're blaming Weiser for the disastrous basketball program pre-huggins? LOL.

If you want to give credit to Huggins for Beasley and Walker, you have to give credit to Weiser for bringing in Huggins. Of course, neither did any of the heavy lifting for KSU basketball. 2006-2007 still pretty much sucked. Outside of a nice conference record, we didn't break any of the embarrassing streaks.

btw, Huggins is about to take our strength coach.

:curse:  Where did you hear that?   :chainsaw:

I wonder if DC Assault has a strength and conditioning coach.

I wonder if Xavier Henry's dad/mother need a job.
