I'm guessing neither married.  DeLoreans are pretty much the territory of singles....as well as 80's Buicks but for different reasons.

Buick:  A few randoms, but no "steadies".  Has an afro-pony-tail and a mustaches.
De Lorean:  Just moved in w/ girlfriend.

I think you should be sneaky and take a picture of him, and then post the pictures on here.

Honestly, the Buick dude seems more interesting, but pics of the DeLorean would be nice, bonus points if he's washing it.

Ask him if knows if his car came in any other colors.

Seriously, when I think of those cars I think "coke whores".

it even has the old school red video camera that marty had in the movie. it was sitting outside uptown theatre a couple weeks ago after a concert. Search for delorean + chevelle on youtube (would post link but fracking youtube is blocked at work).

There's actually a group of people that turn deloreans into BTF cars.  Was out drinking in KC a while ago for a buddies bachelor party and came out of some bar to a whole line of douche bags leaning up against their cars just waiting for drunk chicks to ask them for a ride or something.   They all had the neon lights under the cars and mock-up flux capacitors.   I wasn't sure if they were just passing through or actually lived there as I didn't think to look at the liscense plates.

I just assumed there was some convention in town.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

http://autos.yahoo.com/used-cars/delorean-overview

I saw some Jaguar XKE's in the paper for around $3000 in the 80's.

Way better for collecting.

The guy guess wronged. the Delorean hasn't appreciated.

Still it's a cool car.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Lorean_DMC-12

Stainless steel was a mistake though.   Aluminum would have been lighter and faster.

However, United States emissions regulations required that parts such as catalytic converters be added to the vehicle before it could be sold there. This caused a 40 horsepower (30 kW) reduction to the vehicle's power output, a loss which seriously impeded the DMC-12's performance. When this combined with the suspension system changes, the US version was regarded as disappointing.
