    "Tacky" -Kietz
Fall 93 - Spring 98.  Had student tickets through 04 season.

It wasn't until 2001 (9 seasons) that I saw K-State lose a home game to someone other than Nebraska or Colorado.

2000 ou?

2000 ou?

That was such an empty feeling for me. I was like "We don't lose at home." Now, "We lost at home? Not surprising."
csourk is the best pre-college poster on this board.  way better than oxlp956

    The very best.
Let's say you came to KSU fall of 1995, and graduated december 2000.

63-12.

63-12!!!!

Outscored ku 283-63

38-8 vs conf. opp's. 38-8!
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

    The "other" KSU
Aug 98 - Dec 01... I refer to that period of my life as the best ever. I would love to have a Groundhog day experience and just live it over and over and over again! But without any Sonny and Cher songs. ;)

Don't know how I forgot that one.  It was one heck of a home stretch and we weren't losing to anyone that wasn't a Top 10 team at home during that span.

Mid 90s is way underrated.  Not only were we winning, which is great, but we were doing it for the first time ever, getting better and better each year, and finished off the run by coming about as close as anyone could come to actually making the national championship game.  Totally mind-blowing experience.  Hard to comprehend how awesome it was.

those were my student years.  very overrated time period.  actually, it completely sucked dick.  maybe the worst period ever for ksu sports enthusiasts.
"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

agreed.  watching snyder's offenses and defenses develop into what they did, from nothing, was dinner.  the late 90's was nothing but desert.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

In the late DOD, there were lots of expectations and disappointments that weren't there before.  To early DODer, a nine win season was nothing but f*cking awesome.  And late DODers got bored with piss pounding Snyder's cupcakes while early DODers went into an absolute frenzy over anything good.
