They watched the UT game last year and slept through the rest of the season.

Does Eric Childs have a relative who works for EA?  He has been getting phenomenal ratings for 3 years now.  I consistently expect him to be the fastest player ever.
"Kids used to hit him and stab him with pencils," says Harley Bennett, Jason's father. "Finally I told him he had to stick up for himself. Jason is not a violent person. One day he hit one of the kids back and got suspended."

Olu switched numbers from last season to this season, so it's possible.  I was thinking they screwed up Smoke (#10).

Pretty damn LOL... considering ku is ranked the same as Duke.  I actually think K-State might be pretty decent next year (if you can find an o-line and replace Jordy)...  but ku at 77 overall is a total slap in the face.

77 correlates to about 7-5 imo.  Sounds about right.

Yep... 36 of 44 two-deep off a 12-1 Orange Bowl team = 77.  LOL.

EA Sports has obviously figured in the "fluke factor" into their ratings.

There's nothing "fluky" about a team that doesn't make mistakes and plays very good defense.

I thought maybe the 12-1 Orange Bowl Champs and top 10 finish would do it, but I guess not.  What "awesome" offenses did ku shut down?  Well, that's totally subjective, and with the negative bias that's displayed over here on a day-to-day basis, I doubt any facts or stats I point out will matter.  Regardless...

Top Rushing offenses:

8. Oklahoma State
13. Texas A&M
15. Toledo

Top passing offenses:

7. Nebraska
9. Missouri
21. K-State
27. Baylor
32. Central Michigan

Total offense:

5. Missouri
7. Oklahoma State
9. Nebraska
20. Toledo
21. Central Michigan

Rushing defense:

8. Kansas

Total defense:

12. Kansas

Scoring defense:

4. Kansas

I'm not saying ku's defense shut down each and every one of those teams' offenses... but 12th in total defense and 4th in scoring defense is very good, especially against Big 12 competition.

The biggest insult is Adrian Mayes not being a 99!
