Don't know how serious, but the WIBW guys last night said we were in Topeka to see Rico Richardson from Highland Park (Topeka).  He is probably one of the best shooters in Kansas this year, if not the best.  Don't know if he's high major material though, mainly b/c of his size.  Perhaps a walk-on candidate, but I'm sure this guy will get plenty of low and mid major attention.

Underwood was at the Manhattan High game Tuesday night looking at Richardson. A solid player, good shooter and a really good defender. But size may be an issue.

May, 2008: Frazier is an aggressive lead guard who is most comfortable with the ball in his hands. He is at his best in the open floor as he utilizes his tight handle and good speed to attack the rim. He can also make plays in a half-court set thanks to a reasonably quick first step. He likes to try and make a play before getting too deep, either by pulling up with his quick release or attempting to draw out shot blockers and hit his big men with shovel passes. He runs into problems when he can't utilize either option as his lean physique and pension for avoiding contact makes finishing at the rim a challenge. He must learn to play the game with more patience as he can force the issue too much and is capable of being a bit erratic with the ball.

Villanova was the only one in the Philly area not involved, since they have signed Maalik Wayns from Roman Catholic.

Kentucky's primary competition at this point appears to be South Carolina, Cincinnati, Indiana, Michigan State and Kansas State. Mobley visited South Carolina for the Clemson game and says he "had a great time there." He continues to talk with Cincinnati and Indiana about visits.

Traynham is having another excellent season for Vance and at last check was averaging nearly 17 points and over 8 assists a game. While recruiting will wait until the summer, Traynham told NBE that UNC-Charlotte, UMass, Miami, Xavier, Texas A&M, South Florida, Fordham, Maryland and Auburn were the schools on his mind.

I don't think he'll be that great in d-1.  Just me though.  He's tiny and flops around a lot.

hardaway update.  plans on an official to michigan next fall.  and some unofficials to other schools this spring.  kinda odd that he's running with a chicago team.

Hardaway will spend the spring AAU season with Mac Irvin Fire based in Chicago, run by friends of his dad's (the former NBA standout with the same name), where he'll continue to work on his dribble drive. He'd like to get to Kansas State and Kentucky and also has Minnesota, USC and Miami on his list, among others.

Carson Konrade is a very good basketball player....thats all there is to it....i go to all the home games and watch him and i live right by him and we play in his driveway and he whoops me...sometimes he goes easy on me.
