    Not A Basketball Player
i went caffeine/sugar free (aside from naturally occurring instances) about a year ago and tend to look down on those of you who whore yourselves out to such slaves

geez why doncha just start a granola thread, hippie.

'Clams is just mad because when he was a kid he ate candy 24/7.  It stunted his growth and made him stop getting taller at 5' even.  He never realized his dream of being one of the guys on "Hang Time" because they let girls play on the guys team (for some reason).  Also, Reggie Theus was the coach for a while which was strange.  Anyway, moral of the story is 'Clams hates candy now.
Did you ever see the Hangtime where M. Richmond guest starred. I was like oh crap, say something about K-State, say something about K-State. Then he did. Cream dream.

Bigger cream dream than the Kansas State, Coach Snyder mention we got in The Longest Yard? Doubtful.

My mom owned a candy store in T-Town years ago when I was a child.  I'm like George Costanza, can name the "make up" of just about any candy sold today.

Some of my faves -

Necco "Sky Bar" , it has 4 chambers filled w/ different flavors.

I named one of my cats after this particular candy -

Good N Plenty's
Snickers
5th Avenue
Baby Ruth

Some obscure ones I like (other than Sky Bar)
Cherry Mash (although it's too big, wish they made smaller ones)
Valomilks
those neopolitan coconut bar things.  Forget what they are called.

OH, and these things. I seriously can only find these @ the K-State student union. I can not find them anywhere here in Topeka.

    Powertard Un-approved
M&M's, hot tamales, strawberry twizzlers, snickers, cinnamon jolly ranchers

Nothing like just plain old good dark chocolate.

I'm sensing a couple of peeps fans on this board. Not me though unless a microwave is involved.  Not going to eat them.

They showed how they make these on "Unwrapped" the other day.  I would kill to be able to jump in the giant vat of cherry and eat my way out.

Cherry Mash is made in St. Joe, MO.  I am quite fond of this confectionary delight.

I love the smell of peat in the evening.  That smell, you know that earthy smell...  Smells like...whisky !

dude, Clams is like 6' 7".   He'd have starred on K-State as a basketball player but he was too white or something.

If they really did give them away I would seriously consider moving there for only that reason.

well, they really do give them away pretty much anytime you go to an event hosted by the city or anything.  And they are only like 20 cents a piece anyways, so it sounds like a horrible business decision to move here for that reason only.

Dude, that place is freaking sweet.  It's like the stuff from "house on haunted hill" it's so crazy cause the stuff in the movie is stuff they did in real life way back then.
