I find it kind of interesting that you have us beating teams like Nebraska and Iowa State, and then having us lose to teams like Missouri, ku and Baylor. Just curious, what's your reasoning behind that.
Anyway, these are my predictions. I won't bother with predicting scores, but I'll do my best to explain why I have these predictions.
Illinios State- I will slit my wrists if we lose this game....
Florida Atlantic- See above
Marshall- I'd like to say "see above" again, but they got us 2 years ago and we very luckily escaped their house with a W last year. We should win easily, but they've always seemed to play us tough
Louisville- They have one of the greatest QB/RB combos with Brian Brohm and Michael Bush. I don't think our players who are still trying to adapt to the new system can keep up with this highly potent offense very succesfully. I'll put in a loss there.
at Baylor- First Big 12 game, it's on the road, and it's Baylor. This is a game we should win, but could easily overlook if we do well against Louisville. I'l give the Wildcats the edge, but it could get ugly if we don't show up ready to give it our all..
Okie Lite- Bobby Reid last year, well he didn't really do much. He should be a little better this year, but his only real offensive weapon is going to be D'Juan Woods. The defense isn't really all that stellar either. W for the Cats.
Nebraska- Close loss. Nebraska is loaded with upper-classmen and a seasoned QB in Zac Taylor. The Cats should keep it close though. They always seem to step it up a notch when they play the corn, plus the 'skers haven't won in Manhappenin in over a decade.
@Mizzou- They couldn't beat us with Brad Smith, so it's hard for me to believe that they could possibly beat us without him. Chase Daniels is supposedly a good QB, but I doubt that he can immediatly have the impact that Brad Smith had. Every other position improves a bit though, but I don't think it'll be enough to get them over the hump.
Iowa State- With Bret Meyer, Stevie Hicks, and Todd Blythe, this will probably be too much for our D to handle. It'll most likely look a lot like the Louisville game.
@Colorado- They're going through a similar phase as we are, only they have a seasoned coach and better talent. They do lose their best offensive players in Klatt and Kloppenstien though. It'll be a very close game, but I think the Buffs win. Wouldn't be suprised the least bit if we went there and won though.
Texas- Defending NC. Loss
@Kansas- The squawkers start Kerry Meier, a freshman at QB, and they have a young defense. The rivalry has grown enough to pretty much guarantee a competitive game, but I think that we're too much for the hawks to handle.
So my prediction is 7-5 (4-4)
