What we know:

Xavier in Manhattan (Final game of 3)

@ Oregon (return game for Big 12/Pac 10)

@ Cleveland State (could be off without Huggs?)

Quote
. . . AND K-STATE WILL TAKE PART IN 2008: Kansas State will be the featured opponent in the second edition of the McLendon Scholarship Series, which will be played in December, 2008 at the Wolstein Center on the CSU campus.

Vegas Tournament (Thanksgiving weekend; participating teams include: Kentucky, West Virginia, Iowa, Kansas State, Delaware State, Southeast Missouri, Longwood, and Oakland)

Anyone remember anything else?

Are you sure Oregon is known? I didn't think it was a homa nd home with the same opponent. We will be on the road against a Pac 10 team, you would assume, just not sure it will be the same one. Is this how it works with Big 10 / ACC? I thought they rotated opponents each year... But I could be wrong. It happened once last month.

i hope the csu game is off.  martin doesn't seem to recruit ohio anyways.

in addition to the knowns,
i would guess 1 new home and home, 1 preseason 4 team tournament or classic and the rest guarantee games.

wouldn't be bad, tho - probable win in a state with a lot of high school talent.

We'll be matched-up with Oregon again.

The series will continue in 2008, with games slated for December 4-7. The contests scheduled will be return games of the matchups from 2007, but may not be scheduled for the same day of the week. The games in the series in 2009 will be played December 3-6, 2009, while matchups in 2010 will be played December 2-5, 2010.

We'll get matched up with another Pac 10 team for the next 2 years of the series after 08-09.

We're already in the Vegas Tournament which is a 4 game deal.

So the last week of November we'll have the opportunity to likely play 2 games against WVU, Kentucky, or Iowa and then play at Oregon the next week.  At least it will give us a chance to see what we have.

i was thinking that was around xmas for some reason, and thinking they'd try to get another for the preseason.

manybe 2 new home and homes (too much to hope for)?  or a neutral tv game somewhere?  one tourney and 3 quality opps seems a little light.  but it might be all ksu can get in this horrible post-beasley world.

Because I doubt we get Zona or UCLA.  I'd imagine UT gets Zona and ku gets UCLA (I assume they'd want to have these match ups as it's still a new event, once it gets established we'll see ku vs. oregon st.).  So the next best/entertaining team, imo, would be USC.  I don't want to play a 50-42 game against Washington State.  I guess Stanford would be nice once those trees leave.
