So we lose Mike, Clent, Blake gone for sure.  Pick up Sam., Clem., and Bennett m'fing scholly gone.  That gives us one to give for sure and possibly 2 depending on Bill?  We sign this Awadjobudi and can prob. still get a late crack at Tyree if Bill splits?  Or do we want two juco SGs?  The preceeding has been a LBBRIQ question spree.

Something like that.  I'm assuming we have 2 to give now, Beasley and Walker.  Hoskins could be, but we probably won't know until early summer or so.  I think we're recruiting a SG first, Evans or Awaji from JUCO and Kilpatrick from HS/prep.  Then we'll probably go best available, more than likely McDonald.  I'm sure if Witherspoon came and asked to be part, we'd find a way.  But I think its likely we sign a SG and a SF.  There just isn't much out there for bigs so I think we avoid that, unless Colon decides to go.  And then it looks at best its probably Herrera who would commit as soon as we offer.

Don't we already have Clemete under scholarship, or did he not take one until this season?

Ohhh... Thanks for the heads up.  Tennessee... not really a shock if that's the case.  They lose a ton of guards.  I find it comical that the Holy Rolling panzies on GPC that say "We don't want a kid like that" are the same ones bitching about our shooters.  Tennessee on the other hand just re-loads with a hired gun and their fans just go on about their business.

I'm good with Abuchi Agumbi anyway.

Imagine if Athletic Director Jon Wefald had just allowed former Assistant to the Athletic Director Tim Weiser to fire Wooly the year he wanted to in 2005, and we had hired Bruce Pearl.

Ballplayers will tell you to this day that Pearl was strongly interested in the job.

Oh, what might have been.......

That timing would have allowed us to witness at least one Pearl vs. Sampson matchup.  Lots of good side-stories in that game - all related to improper phone usage.
Welcome back, Bill.

I think he's implying that Evans was placed in Tennessee by Pearl similar to the way he was placed in Kansas by Huggs.  This time he made it through unblemished.  No idea if it is true, but it could make some sense.

What would've been really interesting is if Iowa or was it Illinois??  Was still on K-State's schedule, because didn't Pearl really tick off one or the other school when he was an Iowa assistant??  I know somebody in Big 10 country had a big hard on for the guy.

Illini fans don't care much for Pearl from his days at Iowa.

Quote
The height of animosity toward the injustice was manifest at the 1990 Iowa game at the Assembly Hall. Bruce Pearl did not travel to Champaign. The Illini exploded to a 48-23 lead at halftime. The scoring barrage only got worse for the Hawkeyes. Spurred on by loud chants to "Run up the score! Run up the score!", Illinois scored 70 in the 2nd half and won 118-85. The 2nd half output by both team (132) remains an Assembly Hall record for most points in one half.

I'm saying that, on his myspace, he says he is in TN.  His juco is in TN.  I haven't really read much at all that would suggest he will play for the Vols.  I think people assumed that, because his site said TN, he was signing with UT.  And how do you equate me saying a particular juco is located in Tenn. as the same as me saying Colorado is in Texas?  Do you even know how maps work?
