I have no scoop, but did see activity on another board. 

I think we'll always have a need/spot for athletic guys that big...at least we should.  Looks like he could be eligible second semester.

and how could he be eligible for the 2nd?  he won't be transferring until after the spring sem.

he's basically produced nothing in 2 years.  and he's used a redshirt, so he'll only have 2 left after sitting 1, and ksu really needs someone who can play next year.

he's basically hererra, except he can't play immediately and he eats up 3 'ship years to play 2.

i suppose, given his situation, there might be a chance that the ncaa would waive the req. that he sit a year.  if so, that would make him considerably more attractive.

Wouldn't we have to wait a year on him?  Would we want to?  From an Illini fan:

1. I wish the kid well. He was a project and unfortunately didn't work out. Illinois is probably taller now than they ever have been and I'm sure that didn't work to his advantage as well. Obviously it has been a tough 12 months between the car accident and injuries plus the lack of playing time. On the other hand this is probably a good thing for Illinois. I'm sure Illinois can use the scholarship if not for this upcominng season maybe the next. You can't teach height so I'm sure if not a D1 school probably a D2 school or a juco can use Brian.

Doesn't sound promising.  Sounds as bad or worse than Abdul, and we'd have to wait for him for a year.  By that time if everything goes to plan (ha!) we pick up Judge, have Anderson as a Junior, and who needs him?

-Don't count Frank out on trying for him (even if he's not worth it.)
-You have a better chance of having Caldwell get you info on Newshound, than Newshound getting you information on Caldwell.
-While Caldwell was a 4 star, Jason Bennett was a 5.
