Here's to hoping you don't let any personal bias flow through to your work. You've proven to be a pretty good journalist and a hard worker, but the world of journalism can be such a sordid business.
Actually, it's his grandfather, the former mayor of Denver. We were put in touch with each other through a mutual friend - Greg Moore, the editor of the Denver Post. Is that what you mean by sordid? People using their connections? Ridiculous.
I'm a professional, Steve. Personal bias never enters into the equation. But when one party is willing to talk and another isn't, it becomes rather difficult to not come off as biased.
