Darren Kent obviously.  Who else is an an awkward untalented senior that the announcers can fall in love with?

This is mean but Clent should have been pushed out also when Hugs took over.

He isn't D1 material. :blank:

pushing someone out is only useful if you bring in someone better.  huggins guard recruiting was a disaster.

Come on guys, Stewart was not the only reason why we lost games this year.

The guy gave 4 years of his life to K-State, & I am sure that he has enjoyed it. Trust me it is not easy being a student athlete, there is a lot of sacrifice. You have to train & practice all year long, & it is not easy. The guy lost his mom in the middle of the season, & that is tough enough.

Clent thanks for working hard for 4 years, you will always be a Wildcat. Good luck to you & your fiancée in life.

QFT. He really should have had more TO's, it seems like he gets bailed out of about 3 a game.

I love the fact he finished with zero points.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

No I am not a family member.

Jim Rome is douche bag but what he said one time is he doesn't rag on college players because they are not professionals & they don't get paid (Don't watch Rome that much so don't know if he sticks by this).

Stewart was not paid while playing at K-State (scholarship pays for school & food), he is  not a professional athlete, but yet he has K-State students post online about how much he sucks. There is times when I get mad with how some K-State players play, but I get over it. I realize that they are sacrificing their body year around to play for K-State.

I sure as hell wouldn't post a "thank god Clent is gone" thread, that is pretty stupid. If he was getting paid a 6 or 7 figure salary then you can post whatever the hell you want.

basing your criticism of another human being on their income is retarded, fyi.

What is retarded is saying how crappy a player is all year long when he is not a PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE. Pullen is going to be a good player for K-State, but there was a lot of  :jerkoff: him off.

Pullen & Stewart both averaged 2.2 turnovers (Wisconsin game not in these stats)for the year. Let me also remind you that Clent played more minutes than Pullen, so his TO would be greater if he played Stewart's minutes.

Oh Dear God. Clent shot 34% for the year.

No KSU guard has shot worse than that since the 99-00 season.

KSU was 9-19 that year.

I'd like my son to grow up to be like Clent. I don't want my school's point guard to be like him.

Seriously do not waste your voice on this issue here.  These morons are insecure jagoffs who did not graduate from the school and the only the thing they look forward to is when to get drunk next or what cool new av equipment they are going to get from Best Buy.

Was the guy an All-American, HELL NO.  But he gave this school his all for 4 years.  The damn kid got robbed at gun point his first semester and his mom died of cancer his last and he didn't quit when so many should.

Always bringing up his mothers death as an excuse of why he's bad to average is so wrong.

Getting robbed at Tacobell is a new low for an excuse.

Down 10 after getting a stop, with a chance to cut it 8 or 7, with 5+ to play, we push the ball up and fire it to Clent in the corner. He gets antsy and drives the baseline.  In a career defining moment, he steps OB, effectively killing me and any chance we had.

That said, I do not hate the guy.  I consider him to be what he is.  An average to below average NCAA D-1 player.

he was atrocious. hell, pullen had a bad game and you don't see me ripping him, because he's actually contributed this year.

I think horrible D-1 play goes too far. But was so-so, but played way too many minutes. He played 32 minutes in both NCAA games. Only Beasley played more today.

He should be playing at Washburn.

yes, he was horrible. The starting guards are the reason a team with two 1st round picks is an easy 2nd round out.

Clent hit a couple of huge 3s in the ku game at the 'gon.  That, in and of itself, is enough for me to give him props and wish him well in life.
