How many wins has Self had @ ku over a top 6 seed?

All Coach Self's done is coach his team to a 32-3 record and the #1 seed in the Midwest region.  What more is the guy supposed to do?  35-0?

It's beyond hilarious.

His 1st year his "run" included w's over the 12, 13, and 9.

He then promptly got his ass torn by the 2.

His 2nd year he lost to the 14 (!!!!)

His 3rd year he lost to the 13 (!!!)

His 4th year he beat the 16, 8, 4 (WOW!), then promptly lost to the 2.

His 5th year beat the 16 again.

Just laughable. What a loser.

So your whole argument is that any team below a 6-seed is terrible.  K-State's an 11-seed.

Not when winning the Orange Bowl comes into play.  And it does in 2007-2008.  Because ku won the Orange Bowl.  The Orange Bowl is one gigantic trump card.  (So is winning the NC, but we're not talking about basketball right now)

Wrong. In college football, all that matters is the regular season and how you do in your conference. Bowl games are exhibition contests really.

qft.  Was just about to post this.  Division titles and conference championships are what matter in college football.  BCS bowls are just exhibition games that loser teams like Boise State can win.
