Just curious, has anyone here actually been to a game at Hilton Coliseum?

yes last year.  I yelled out scoreboard at 2 or 3 to 0.  The students were kind of confused.  Then at the end of the game I just pointed at the score board and shhhed the student section when they started to try and talk smack.  I was sitting in the first row where the visitor's locker room comes out.

I thought Ames was like Manhattan in feel.  I liked Hilton.  Good trip, especially shotgunning beers in the parking lot before hand.
Be a winner today

The overpriced Natty Lite.

Dang, if I only had a good Jack Gardner joke.

Again, people, stay current.

i have been to hilton coliseum twice.  both times was for the odyssey of the mind world finals.  and, as we all know, odyssey of the mind or "OM" is not a game.

so, no.  i haven't been to the Hilton Coliseum of Wonderment for an NCAA MBB Tilt. :'(

Jack was a martini man.  Liked em like his women: cold, full of gin, dirty, and pierced with two olives.

That's better.

Yes, it's been rough the last two years.  Lots of defections, injuries, bogus NCAA rulings.

We hope McDermott is turning things around, but it's been tough going.  At times, we have had 4 walk-ons on the floor at the same time this year.  Not gonna win many games that way.

I didn't realize that your Fred Brown is the son of ISU's Fred Brown...

What are the expectations for him in the future?  Good prospect or likely a role player?

KSU leads the all time series by 52 games, and it's .500 in Ames (45-45).

21-15 in Hilton Coliseum...

not dominating by any means, but an edge anyway.

Do ISU fans really think they are going to get under Walker's skin with the pee jokes?  I would LOVE for them to try taunting Beasley and Walker.  I give it a 50/50 shot Walker pees all over your court.  Why?  Because he's Bill F'n Walker.

I don't think we think we can throw him off his game, but getting the student section and crowd united may cause some problems.  We'll see.  I think ISU keeps it relatively close but loses by 8-10.

I bet it will be closer something like 4 or 5 points

I suggest you not provoke Beasley. Seriously. Dude will go off for 30 and 15.

Oh, wait...that's what he averages. :D

Do you remember when I posted on tornadophanatic that I hoped Frank Martin punched your fat necked coach in the face and his bulbous neck fat kept his head from snapping back to far thus bracing it but did cut off the nerves for a split second causing him to crap his pants and also that KSU won by a billion, then they banned me, then it all actually happened, then I couldn't come back to taunt because of the IP ban!?

Dude, how old are you?  That sounds like something a 12-year old would write.

You're really the admin here?  Seriously?

I say role player - the guy who can hit the open 3, but it's hard to say considering he is a frosh.

BTW - where has this 1st half ISU play been from Pullen on the road this year?

Hilton, don't try to reason with these people.  It will make your head hurt and the board mod will probably change your user name to something like Hilton Fagic.

Yes, it seems that the ratio of real sports talk to idiotic blather is rather small here.

It honestly wasn't smack.  I was wondering if you guys believed in the phenomenon of Hilton Magic.

I haven't used your little jerkoff icon or talked about snapping your coaches head off.

Now that would be juvenile.
