Anybody have anything substantial to say about the game, or do you just respond graphically on this board?

Magic?    "Hilton Magic" is nothing more than the delusions of perhaps the only Big 12 fanbase that receives more kicks in the crotch than KSt.  By the way:

Series: Kansas State leads 128-76
(Tied 45-all in Ames, Iowa)

.500...Magic?   :jerkoff:

Hilton Magic wasn't really born until the 80's when Johnny Orr became coach.  Not sure, but I would guess ISU has the advantage over KSU in that time period.

Way to stay current.

Should I make a crack at Huggins, or maybe to keep it real fresh, Lon Kruger?

You guys have historically had very good fans and very bad teams.  Strange combo, but whatever.

Yeah, the last couple of years have been down, but we've had some good teams, too.  The 2000 Elite 8 team wasn't too bad.  Most pundits thought that game against MSU was the true national championship, and we got screwed on a bad call in MSU's back yard.

What would you say KSU's best team has been since this year's team...the Mitch Richmond Era?  Not flaming, just wondering.  Richmond was awesome.

Sorry Clone fan; it's the best we can do right now.

Some here are sure we will lose.  If you haven't been following us, we've either put it on cruise for the remainder of the big XII, or we have hit the wall and shot our wad early in February.

But you simply are not going to get a lot of flaming.
First; you're not a fan of our rival (Texas)

Second; since you don't talk about pounding it inside with Sasha Kaun; we assume you are a heterosexaul and therefore not a Phag fan.

Third: since your typing on the internet; we would assume you are not incarcerated and therefore not a MU fan.

We simply don't have a lot of negative feelings about ISU.  You out drink us at Kelly's and that deserves our respect.

Those conf. championships ISU had alwo weren't too bad.  Too bad Tinsley threw that 1st round game against whatever stupid 15 seed.  Cost me big time in my bracket.  Looking back I'm not too sad now as I have grown to hate all things Iowa since.

That team ('88) was obviously the best we've had in a long time.  Much better than this year's team as well.  Not even close really.

ISU did get screwed in 2000.  But hey, us ag schools should be used to that by now.

    • Mediocrity In Manhattan
The one time I stepped foot in Hilton Coliseum with my K-State gear on was in 1991. The second I crossed into the building I felt a small itch, possibly a burn down in my crotchal area. Assuming it was just the "Hilton Magic" I had heard so much about, I let it go.

One month later to the day, back in Manhattan, I was walking out of Lafene Health Center and the "Hilton Magic" (as my friends and I came to call it) was gone. Turns out the girl I had met the night before the ISU game in Ames had crabs.

We have had our share of bad things happen in the BB program this year.

Do people here really think ISU wins tomorrow?  I think we're severely outmatched unless Beasley gets in foul trouble, which he has managed to mainly avoid this year, right?

We're hoping the Hilton Magic of old is there tomorrow.  It is Senior Night, and we want to send Rahshon Clark out with a win, and Hubalek, too.

Understandable...a lot of Iowa Hawkeye women visit Ames.

We know that we have the more talented team, but we have only seen them play well on the road 2x in conference play.  Both games were a long time ago.

ISU has a GREAT shot on winning tomorrow.  Hilton Magic may not even be needed.  Heck, we lost at Mizzou Arena.

That pretty much sums it up. Nice stereotyping too, really enjoyed the MU one.

I'm really suprised we never developed a rivalry with ISU in the 80's when both of our football teams sucked. Those battles for last place got kinda intense......I guess we were to distracted rioting in aggieville
