2. Compare and contrast Michael Beasley and Wally Judge.
I think in comparison, Mike, at the same point, was more physical. Wally is more of a wing at this point… Wally is more quiet. Mike is a trash-talker. Wally is a good kid. Mike has always been a physical guy.

3. How good is Rodney McGruder? How good can he be?
I think Rodney will be a very, very good get for K-State. He’s going to be a great player… He can shoot the ball, which they could use right now. He has a nice in-between game. K-State got themselves a real nice player… I think Georgetown is upset he got out of here. He was one of the better kids in the D.C. area.

(BONUS) 8. What are your impressions of K-State in 2008-09?
You know what? With Mike out of the equation, I think they have a good solid base, should be a solid team in the Big 12. I think Ron has a hell of a upside. Dominique is going to be good. Jamar is going to be real good. And with Pullen… They should be fine.

J-Mart should have followed up his question about comparing Mike with Wally with "I meant how they &@#%ing compare on the court, not on a &@#%ing date."

But, nice to hear about McGruder.  I hope the new AD understands how important it is to keep Dalonte here through at least next December.

By the way, how much do you think it would take to get Malone as Director of Basketball Operations for us?

I guess Pullen, Clemente, and Samuels are all transfering?

Assuming, of course, that MB and BW leave.

what an amazing upgrade that exchange will be.

No, he's bigger than that.  He's skinney but, but prolly will be significantly bigger than Judge by Fall 2009.  Hell, maybe Anderson locks down the 5.  But, there really isn't a "5," just two 4s.

No crap.  Mine too.

Toss Reid, and dare to dream of a juco big who can score in there and you have something.

I think freshman Wally Judge is going to have to be really good to supplant Anderson as starter in his junior season. The guy is a rebounding maniac and it appears to me that the stroke can be developed, primarily with more minutes on the floor. Perhaps it's my odd fascination with the name "Ron", but I'm hitching up the R. Anderson bandwagon. I think the dude is All-Big 12 by the time he's a junior, primarily because of the 13 rebounds per game that guys going to grab.

Ron Anderson reminds me a lot of Marques Hayden in his prime.

I hope that does not include Marques's unparalleled propensity for finding himself in the back of police cars.

Jamar Samuels is really good at dunking. In warm ups against ku, he was throwin' down

at the texas game he was nailing 3's and had a really smooth shot. I can't wait to see him play next year. :woohoo:

Easy to say... but...

At least I'm willing to say something interesting. No doubt, the chances are against Ron Anderson being a stud, but I see some pretty solid potential.
