    The very best.
Who are they?

Davin Dennis
Victor Mann
Clary
Saba

Porter
George
"Teddy" Sims
??????

Is that it?
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Mann is the only one of significance.

Clary was o-ver-ra-ted.  He moved around like he had the gout.  Folks said he was a "leader".  Well, "leaders" don't take their helmet off on the field and look for the towel boy / girl the first change they get.  You can tell when he started dating that track star.

George was undisciplined.

Sims had 10 too many concussions during his career.

Saba never got into is own "Saba Zone" after his sophomore year.  Well, maybe the Bob's Diner zone.

Porter had dreadlocks for a while.

Dennis looked liked he had potential, but you know what that and $.50 gets you...

I'm sorry, you're wrong.  If all these players TRULYy busted their ass, the combined record the past two years would not have been 9-13.  Last I checked, success on the football field is measured by wins and losses, not about "busting ass".

Mann - Busted ass his career in purple.  He left it on the field.  He was a player the younger guys could look up to...

Clary - Busted ass his first two years, then he checked out.

George - Can't really tell if he busted his ass.  He'd make some plays, and then get a personal foul at a crucial moment.  If he truly busted his ass, he would have had 10 sack his senior year.  So, I made up my mind.  He didn't bust ass.

Sims - Busted ass his entire career, but too many knocks to the head and his leg injury limited him his last two years.  Yet, he was still way better than Butler through all that.  Unfortunate for Ted...

Saba - If he would have busted ass, he wouldn't have eaten himself into trying out for the d-line his senior year.  Oh yeah, wasn't he the highest rated FB his senior year in HS???

Porter - Didn't bust his ass enough to be a solid contributor.  I still have visions of Joel Klatt juking him and making him hang in the air as he ran by Porter in Boulder in '04... Joel Klatt???

Dennis - Yeah, I'd say he busted ass to a certain degree, but he just never got over the hump to be a serious threat game in and game out.

Look, I'm not ungrateful -- I'm just calling it like I see it.  K-State football allows me to enjoy every Saturday in September, October and November... win or lose.  What I do know is these guys had more talent than players on Snyder's early teams.  Yet, they lived off of being on the team that won the Big XII championship and that was apparently good enough for some of them.  "The Foundation" and subsequent teams BUSTED THEIR ASSES to raise the standard of K-State Football.  It's not my fault that guys whose eligibility ran out in 2005 -- who had more talent and potential than many of Snyder's others teams -- pissed away their opportunities to play in bowl games.  These guys didn't cheat me as a fan, they cheated themselves, their teammates and the players before them.

Oh, and BTW, Porter and George were JUCO players so they only busted ass for you for two years.

Oh, and another BTW, Clary didn't redshirt, so he only busted ass for you for four years.

I'd appreciate it if you'd get your facts straight.

Have a nice BUST ASS day!

Mann will be missed.  Clary did not suck, but he was overrated because he did not improve from his soph year on.

I am glad George is gone.  That stupid F*ck and all his personal fouls came at the worst times possible.

Porter and dennis are both replacable.  Teddy was never healthy enough, so seeing Diles at Mike this year is a very good thing.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.
