It should be delicious!

P.S. sys-

You're right, Drew is a disgrace!  (see my early touting of Baylor).

"these are no longer “games” in the commonly accepted sense of the term. these are free throw shooting contests leavened by the occasional sprint to the other end of the floor."

Drew about to be  live on SportsCenter!

Dorky Sportscenter guy: "How did you all win the game?"

Drew: "I tell you what, if this game had been on ESPN tonight, the world would have gotten a real treat, cuz this was a great game."

That's the euphoria talking, coach.

it's megalomania, not euphoria.
I get the feeling that Baylor's good start has basically ruined our good start for you.

Trust me.  I dropped the Clent Stewart thing and I felt a lot better.  Try it.

I was trying to explain how Drew's mental state (euphoria after the best win of his life) could make him say something sort of stupid.  But good call there, Updike.  You really got me on that one.

    Goomba attack
The Turg melted down before the game tonight when a reporter asked him if the team's problems were all because of him.  He started whining and said that any positives that happen this year all get attributed to Billy G. and that everything that goes wrong is his fault.

He then unleashed the legendary, "I'm in a flippin' no win situation, and it puts me in a bad mood."

Whatever, Napoleon.

christ, you're dense.  i corrected your perfectly understandable post to imply that drew is an ego-driven asshole, not a happy little high-on-life baptist.

it had nothing to do with you.

it did ruin tonight's game for me.  i'm strongly considering kk's advice.  but i'll need a new team to hate if i drop baylor, right now i have a hard time coming up with an alternate candidate.

LOL.  Touche, homes!  I was reading your post as if you were an ego-driven asshole (clearly not the case), not Drew.  My bad.  Apparently I wasn't CCed on the "Drew is an arrogant asshole" memo.

of course, i'm an ego-driven asshole (only here though).  and i attack drew any time he's mentioned.  you should prob. spend more time reading my posts, if you didn't already know both.

Anyway...great win for the cats tonight.

Right now aTm looks like it could be a satisfying choice.

Reading Texags after Turg meltdowns and whinefests could be lots of fun.

The word on the streets is that Turg's heart is still in Wichita. He cries every night because he's having a hard time adjusting to a dumpy college town in Texas after leaving the bright lights of Wichita. He's essentially broke without his Spangles money so basically his entire world is falling apart.

Any team that has ever lost a home game to the Aggies should just give up basketball.  imo.

here is my question... deandre jordan is leading the nation (well, at least for people under 7'-7" tall) in field goal percentage... and he only shoots seven times in a five overtime game... and they lose... at home?!

either he's a 'diaper dandy' or he's not... just seemed underused against us as well... anyone think they would restrict his use to keep him from the NBA-bolt?  that would be completely stupid... (er, for a sane coach)  maybe he watched dean smith and says "...holding jordans points down makes smith look like a great system coach..."

i say the turg deserves some of the heat he is taking

Reporter from Houston Chronicle on KK right now:

"Maybe this isn't the right hire for A&M."
