I Asked did you or anyone HAVE facts?  All you have is OPINIONS.  I don't give a sh1t who's opinions they are, because there are obviously opinions out there to contradict your opinions.  What I want is for you to admit that you don't know anything and the only reason you are on here is to ruffle a couple of feathers...

i know everything about football.  especially the cornerback position.  and i aslo did ruffle a couple of feathers on here (you).

ksu will not pick up any 5 star guys.  4 stars are almost all decided, some more could be added.  this is how i see they will be rated, based on offers.  i've followed recruiting long enough to know offers=stars.  of course there's NO WAY of knowing how it will turn out, no S**T sherlock.  but we can make a pretty good projection based on size/speed/offers.  save this thread until the end of the year.  i can see one or two 2 stars making the jump to 3, or a 3 making a jump to 4.  not 100% of course, but it'll be close.

NOT GOOD...average of 2.66666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666667

Look at the bright side, an average of 2.67 is better than Snyder's last class.

And that class contained the four star gems:
Jonathan Lewis - no show
Willie Williams - no show
Steve Burch - no impact

Even in chicken little world we're improving.

It's the truth. You will go there for new student orientation, you will sing the fight song (rack chalk jayhawk)...mingle with Sheryl and Darren and that will be that.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

they didn't give derek myer or zach diles any stars.  and you don't know how williams or lewis will do, if we still had snyder, they'd probably be here.

Better is better.

And if Williams and Lewis did come to KSU, it wouldn't have been part of the 2005 class.

So unless you want to argue that Diles and Meyer should have been five star recruits, Prince has improved over Snyder's last class.

Are you that stupid?

there were 68 stars total, divide by 26 = 2.62.  being generous, diles should at least be a 3 star, and derek meyer a 2 star.  that number goes up to 2.81.  on the williams and lewis thing, we didn't know that at the time.  we don't know who's going to leave from the 2006 class.  if you want to go deeper, patton, kendall, and johnson were snyder's recruits.  snyder also would of had a commitment from lewis and daniels.  given the recruits prince has been recruiting rating-wise, he probably would not of replaced snyder's recruits with higher rated ones.  so if he had a whole recruiting season, the 2.52 average might have been even worse.  of course, there are other variables that determine whether or not if a player is any good.  but what we are discussing right now is strictly the ratings of the players.  that's all we know right now, and is probably the only measuring stick in figuring out who is the better recruiter, without looking at tape, etc (don't give me the "but look at the inside.kstatesports videos, they're SOOOO good"...they're HIGHLIGHT tapes.  i would hope they look good if they really are d1 athletes, playing vs. high schoolers).

 :ustupid:

i can only wonder the recruits snyder would have pulled in last year .  picking up patton, kendall, daniels, lewis, and johnson was a solid start.

I can't help but laugh a little.  Some squawk tried to tell me that KSU didn't have any "professional" programs besides the Vet School.

I asked him if he thought Engineers, Architects, Accountants, Teachers etc. etc. were professionals.   If you get a doctorate in Nuclear Engineering ... you're not a professional??

Right now this class is rated better than Snyder's last class was at signing.  After signing that class only got worse as two of the 3 top recruits failed to show.

Recruiting has gotten better since Snyder's last class.

The only way you can get Snyder's class to be higher rated is to play a game of what ifs, and those what ifs never even &@#%ing happened.  I'd laugh if I wasn't saddened to see a Wildcat reduced to the pile of puss I have encountered here.

At this point Prince's class represents an improvement over Snyder's last class.

Saying otherwise sounds like a Johnson County ku bitch that's dated the entire '95 HKSUer football team for so long she's gone Schiavo.

I think what is honestly going on here is that a couple of people didn't like Prince from the begining for whatever reason.  What other possibility would there be for a loyal KSU fan to not let Coach Prince coach a single game before talking about him as the worst thing that ever happened to us.  It's sickening.  When he was hired, I was told by a random fan that he would not last long because KSU is nothing but a bunch of redneck hicks that wouldn't allow a black man be in such a position of power over the town of Manhattan.  I told him he was an ignorant fool that didn't know anything about KSU fans.  But the way some people are reacting... I'm honestly starting to wonder why some are so critical this early in his career.  Tons of unproven coaches that have had less early success with fan enthusiasm as well as a shocker recruit of Josh Freeman sign have had much more leeway than Coach Prince has. I'm not asking anyone to lower their standards. But for Gods sake, let one season go by before you pass judgement.

Cue the infantile responses. I know half of you guys are dying to do it....   here i'll get you losers started:  :jerkoff: :blahblah: :ustupid: :onthecan: :chirp:

I'm curious as to why you think the kids that have committed will not be good for us.

Use some of your "DB skills" to analyze it.

Does Ksustunner realize there were no rivals or scouts when Snyder took over ?

I see a big difference in recruiting. We landed some D-ends and got some commits that wouldn't have come here previously.

It's rare to see an adult actually increase their stupidity in such a short period of time.

Now you're comparing a class finalized in february to a class in JUNE.

You really are that stupid.  And you still can't escape the fact that Prince has improved recruiting from Snyders last class.  All you can do is deny the facts, adjust star ratings, compare february offers to june offers and make yourself look like the childish imp you must be.

Diles and Meyer get no stars....EVER....and you gift them five stars.  But in JUNE you bitch about stars for current recruits.

I think I've figured it out.

Derek Meyer is &@#%ing your mother.  Either that or you're taking it from Derek directly.

When you went home to visit mommy was Derek giving her the ole dirty sanchez?

Only that kind of complete mind &@#% job can explain your departure from sanity in how you try to justify your present ramblings.

You really are that stupid.  And you still can't escape the fact that Prince has improved recruiting from Snyders last class.  All you can do is deny the facts, adjust star ratings, compare february offers to june offers and make yourself look like the childish imp you must be.

i'd say offers are a pretty good judge of talent.  it's simple, really.  a school wants a player, they offer.  if they don't want them, they don't offer.  the more offers a player has, the more likely they are of being a better player.  it's not like schools offer to whoever they feel like.  they do a crap ton more research than any of us on here combined x 100.  so basing a class on that should be pretty accurate.  that's all i'm saying, yet people still don't understand, and say that lame "stars don't matter" bs.  you only hear that from teams that can't recruit.  why is everyone in love with lamark brown, even those that say they don't believe in the star system?  because he has 4 stars and 5 bcs offers.  it's not because we've seen video, or have played with him.  he's got good size, but 4.55 isn't blazing speed, especially since most of those numbers are stretched.  jeremy mack has similar size/speed, but why does nobody care about him?  because nobody wants him.

Diles and Meyer get no stars....EVER....and you gift them five stars.  But in JUNE you bitch about stars for current recruits.

do you follow ksu recruiting at all?  diles and meyer were late additions to the team.  diles came like the summer before the season started, and (correct me if i'm wrong) i'm pretty sure meyer was a grey shirt.  that being said, diles should of been a 3 star, and meyer (like any other walkon or greyshirt) is a 2.
