This had absolutely no bearing on the game although it could have. After NU makes the putback with 1.1 seconds to go, the OSU guy just grabs the ball after it falls through the hoop. He sits there for a second like, "what the hell do I do now?" He then takes the ball and tosses it over to Curry who proceeds to get a shot off at the buzzer. It misses and NU wins. Here's the thing, the OSU guy was standing completely inbounds when he tossed the ball over to Curry. This wasn't the ol' "get one foot and most of my body completely out-of-bounds and then pass it in while my other foot is progressing towards the out-of-bounds" kind of pass which seems way too rampant. His left foot was a good 2-3 feet inbounds. He stepped his right foot back so his toe almost touched the baseline. No whistle. Nothing. Unfortunately we'll never know what would've happened if Curry hit the shot and won it. To make matters even better, NU had six fricking players on the court at the time. After they hit the shot some dumbass NU player comes running onto the court celebrating. Rules really mean absolutely nothing in the Big 12.
