I can't speak for the University as a whole, but personally, I have a plethora of profane cheers.  The more hammered I get in the parking lot before a game, the more profane they get.  Old ladies and children be darned.

I have yet to understand the problem people have with these chants.  Its just college kids having fun.  While myself I am beyond the college age, but seriously, let them have fun.  The focus should be on the game, not people crying about chants and stuff that goes on in the stands.  And for the people who complain because they have their children with them,  what do they expect?  You cant shield your children from the world.   Id be willing to bet that half the people, alumni included, that complain about what they deem as vulgar chants at a football game, leave their children sitting in front of a tv the rest of the time seeing much worse, yet they say nothing about that.  Ignore it, watch the game, enjoy the atmosphere.

No kidding, it hasn't changed things there?  Wouldn't have guessed.  They're so bad that they're starting to excuse it as normal.
