Kind of unfortunate for Norwood to be a dork.

Looks like things will get better with Bassett, sounds like he can make a huge difference in the passing game.

    The very best.
It is a tragedy because now, we have at least an extra month without Cat football until next year. I hate wasting my life away but I can hardly wait until next year.

Kind of sucks we don't have quite all of our horses to play with.  Norwood, Moran, and Josh Moore screwing up and not being out there really have hurt this team.  All those guys were being counted on heavily.  Moran may have been the biggest loss of the bunch. Cline is game but he can't do it all on his own and our lack of depth there is starting to show.  It's easier to take when guys get hurt that is part of the game but it sucks when they just do dumb things off the field and hurt the team.  That is 3 starters there gone before the season even started.

We just really need "C-Bass"

yeah but he won't do us any good this year and he'll be a true frosh next year so I'd temper your expectations some.  This time last year we were saying wait for Lamark to get here.

I actually I expect Cooper to play a lot his freshman year.  Mastrud did it.  Cooper is better than Mastrud.

Lamark is an exception.  He's a linebacker/safety trying to learn to play wide receiver.  But we won't get into that discussion.

Offense wasn't great, but when we score 24 points (should've been 27) at home I expect to win.

And we do miss Norwood.

And man I wish Josh would've seen Johnson on the swing route when he tried to hit Mastrud in the 3rd.

As many issues people are seeing on our offense, especially after Bedore went out, I see the defense as more of a problem.  IMO ku owned us for 2 1/2 quarters with their offense.  You can't afford to give up 30 points at home, especially when ku didn't have a bunch of short fields.  and frankly, they should've scored more.  ku's offense is very good, but I'm not sure their 400+ yards in BSFS good.

QFT.  Holy crap there wasn't anyone on that side of the field.

IMO, ku owned us for 1 3/4 quarters.  Basically from their scoring drive in the 3rd on....Reesing wasn't too comfortable until that drive...and our missed tackles, especially on 3rd down, kept their drives alive and forced us to continue gambling on our blitzes.  We blitzed right at their run and still missed the tackle in the hole (Roland and Walker).

Yeah we did.

I went more b/c I thought ku started getting rhythm with their offense in the 2nd quarter.  They started getting to us then.

    Sniff Sniff. . . I smell Heisman.
QFFT

We can't throw sh1t over the middle.

Very true.

If we do throw over the middle Mastrud or Pooschke, are too slow to out run anybody or are too slow to even get open.
csourk is the best pre-college poster on this board.  way better than oxlp956

    Anti-government
Mastrud probably has the 2nd best hands next to Jordy on this team, which is sad.
