finally watched it.

not impressed. they tried to lure me in with graphics but i backed down.

why do movies with gladiator type fighting dudes always end with a whore in a wheat field after they have died?

really?

this didnt just happen 7 or so years ago?

the more i think about it, this movie was really lame to me.

their misrepresentation of the actual events bothered me. i think the way it really happened was a better story and made them look a lot better than the needless slaughter.

Did you really expect any degree of historical accuracy from Hollywood interpreting a comic book that depicts a comic book writer's interpretation of a historical event?  If I were looking for a telling with a bit more historical weight I'd read Herodotus' account rather than watching 300.   :lol:
