Texas is our rival, we didn't really have to worry about them cause we knew we'd win

This so-called rivalry w/ Texas was invented by the fans of KSU.  UT fans do not, consider KSU a rival.  The two UT rivals are OU and A&M.

IMO, KSU fans invented a rivalry w/ UT to make themselves appear better than they actually are.  UT is traditional power.  KSU was good for a decade.  And KSU has enjoyed success against UT when the horns are not at their best.

And yes, ku is your rival.  No matter how hard the new KSU fans try to separate themselves from this rivalry, the real fans know this is a rivalry.

If one team routinely beat another are they a rival.  What is the all time record of KSU vs Texass?

4-2 K-State since the Big 12 has started, and something like 6-5 Ut now all time I think.

Cool your jets, scooter.  I agree w/ KSU fans.  ku and KSU are not rivals.  ku has dominated the series and holds a 27 game lead. 

If KSU can win the next 27 games and even the series, then maybe there will be a rivalry status.

ku has a tremendous series lead on the hardwood, too.

KSU does own ku in the equestrian matchup.

Who really cares who our rival is? In my opinion all Big 12 schools are kind of each others rivals.  However if we have to break it down I would say that Missouri is ku's rival over KSU. I grew up close to manhattan so I have always hated ksu more than mu, but when I went to school at ku I noticed that most people around there hated MU way more than ksu.
