    Fear the Brick
I don't understand the university's and riley county's hard on for ruining the gameday experience.  In 1996, extremely underage and with a full cup of beer , I had a conversation with a RCPD officer at the corner of Kimball and College as my friends were, in plain sight, unloading kegs out of the back of our trucks and into some trash cans full of ice...all he had to say was "have fun today".  It wasn't like underage drinking was legal back then.

Cops are generally horrible people based on my personal experiences.

That's because calling them facists pigs, making fun of their mothers, and peeing on their squad car is not exactly friendly behavior.

Then screaming "RODNEY KING!! RODNEY KING" while they bash your face in doesn't help either.

BTW:  You're 21.. why do you care what happens to the punk kids?

He's just looking out for us Kat Kid wannabes

So you're going to marry a controlling woman with big boobs?

Dude, shoot for a higher bar.

Hilarious burn my friend laid on me the other day:

setup- we were watching 'Weeds', getting high, and we both commented on Mary Louise Parker's milfatude.  I said that I had always wanted to get with an older lady and that it was too bad that I would never get the opportunity.  My buddy goes: "just wait ten years, then you'll get to sleep with an older chick all the time."

 :lick:  :banghead:

Just keep it in a cup.

Yes...just keep it in a container other than the can or bottle it comes in, and don't do anything completely retarded to draw attention to yourself. If you don't create "reasonable suspicion" the cops won't have any reason to even mess with you.

Also if you are a college student who is not yet 21, but you still look like your 14...don't drink on state property (the parking lot of the stadium). If cops see someone who looks 14 holding a can on naty light...there going to get you.

Oh yeah...and don't boycott football...it's un-American.

They began cracking down on drinks in 02 or 03 I think but they also said they weren't going to go around looking in cups or sniffing cups etc.  Don't be blatant, they are easy to spot walking down the paths.  Just don't have a bottle out in view and don't crack one open right in front of them.

I don't understand the university's and riley county's hard on for ruining the gameday experience.

The city of Manhattan has many older permanent citizens who mistakenly believe that the city of Manhattan would be better off if those damn college kids weren't around to piss in their bushes and walk through their grass.  The do it through shady, backwards methods such as this and all of the other myriad ways they try to punish bars and liquor stores for even existing.  These are the same people you see lamenting how Poyntz used to be so vibrant and full of wonde :billypopcorn:rful places to shop.  It's all those damn kids and their damned shopping mall.

Honestly, I'd love to see what would happen to them after KSU packed its bags and everyone left.  The town would be smaller than Junction City and it would be absolutely hilarious to watch them squirm in embarassment.

well put. i am also one this not a fan of all the "riley rats" but i understand that is why this town is booming right now and that can only be for the best, it can only help recruiting and create a bigger fan base.
